Edited by longevity: 11/17/2014 8:39:36 AMwow is the goal destiny wishes it could achieve but destiny had only a TINY amount of content and tried to stretch it as much as possible while also making the raid as unfriendly and inaccessible as possible. wow is a ton better than the pve experience in this game. pvp depends on your preferences.

You really think activision would allow bungie to make a game better then or equal to wow for console? It owns blizzard.

This is nothing like wow.... i could go from 1-90 and probably barely repeat anything if i wanted... plus then once i get to max level and get the good gear i dont need to run around in a circle for five hours just to make it stronger. You may have to repeat the raids or dungeons for certain gear drops but in my experience its nowhere near as bad as destiny in that aspect

You can go from 1-20 without having to repeat a single thing. Just play the story one time and every strike one time... Just saying

i think the farming experience was better in this game than in wow. I farm when i`am to tired to do anything else. I pick up a bunch of bounties, patrol missions then i just cruise around farming materials with a friend or two for an hour. Usually i get like 100 + materials, 5 bounties with rep and xp and a lot of rep from patrol missions.. In wow i flew around in a big circle staring at a mini-map for material pop ups..

In my opinion, that's besides the point. What could you do with those materials in wow? A lot more than you can with te ones in destiny. There were lots of materials and items that did different things and helped you craft stuff. There is essentially no difference between any upgrade resource. The only reason I can even think that each planet has a different one is to make you do patrols on each planet. That fine I guess but its not like there's anything different about farming spin metal compared to spirit bloom
