Need help understanding what gear gets me to lvl 30
So I'm currently lvl 28. If I have:
- Faction Helm
- Iron Banner 1.0 gloves from first event.
- Exotic Chest
- Raid Legs
Can I hit 30 with Iron Banner 2.0 gloves? That'd be 1 Faction piece, 2 Raid lvl pieces, and 1 Exotic. Is that enough?

7 RepliesThe combinations of level 30 armor are as follows: -2 Raid, 2 IB 2.0 -3 Raid, 1 IB 2.0 -4 Raid -1 Exotic, 1 Raid, 2 IB 2.0 -1 Exotic, 2 Raid, 1 IB 2.0 -1 Exotic, 3 Raid To get level 30, all 4 armor pieces must reach 30 Light. As of now, only Raids, Exotics, and IB 2.0 give 30 Light. All other Legendary armors cap at 27 light.

You have a chance to get raid gear by completing certain parts of the raid. Once you get a piece of armor from the raid levl that piece up an it will get you to 30 light instead of 27 light. They have Helm,boots, gauntlets,an chest pieces you can get just don't delete them

Full raid armor, one exotic and the rest raid armor, or the new iron banner gloves/boots with the rest being raid or one exotic.

My understanding is that everything needs to get to light level 30. Raid pieces will. Exotics will. I have faction pieces, but they don't level high enough. And Iron Banner pieces won't until the new version comes online. I'm pretty sure you need 4 raid gear, or 3 raid gear and an exotic.
