let's be honest it's great that Xur is selling TLW
I personally think it's awesome to see the forums lighting up with people actually seeing the value in having Xur lol,
I hope most people buying it are the same ones who at one point said he was useless or he shouldn't sell this gun or that armor because they had earned it and now it's not valuable, bravo bungie.
And before anyone starts to hate here my last word is maxed out and it's for sure my favorite gun in the game, I hope you all enjoy it. just know it takes a seasoned hand to wield effectively and there's a bit of a trick to it. Either way looking forward to some interesting conversation in the crucible haha good luck Guardians.

The gun is cool and all but the one i got from rng i rarely usre againt enemies, but in pvp i go absolute beast mode with it. Overall a pvp gun that everyone will cry nerf about eventually because there to unskilled to counter true space outlaws.

3 RepliesEveryone moaning about this makes it sound like they were docked some of their pay in order for other people to have it for free. That's not what happened. everybody who has it had to pay for it with time and effort (depending on skill level) the only difference is odds. Until today, no one knew Xur was going to sell it (and folks have been hoping and wishing for weeks in some cases.) [i]Yes[/i] strange coins aren't necessarily the hardest to earn at level 28/29 etc, but you still have to do the missions and save them up on the off chance something you actually want is in Xur's inventory. The fact that Xur exists IMO helps balance out the rather brutal RNG in this game and gives those who metaphorically find a crappy mangala skin sweater in their xmas engram EVERY DAMN TIME from Santa Rahool (Cryptarch School of Disappointment - 10th Dan Black Belt). I would understand the argument more if Exotics otherwise only came from either complete epically hard mission or performing amzing feats in the crucible. But let's be real here; that is [i]not[/i] how this ish happens. We've all seen poor performs in the Crucible be awarded Exotics or the person who joins a strike last minute and AFK's in a corner get more rewards. It would have been great if there had been some engaging missions tied to to each of the Exotic weapons, rather than some of the ridiculous bounties they have making you kill x amount of this etc, but that's not what happened. Until they do something like that, Exotics will never live up to Bungie's original Hyperbole about knowing what someone somoeone went through to get a unique gun or armour piece like 'Oh you slayed the Vex super Hyrda Unit on that Old Orbital Space Array off Saturn, wow! (this is an example of course. Unfortunately) So when I do see someone with a cool weapon etc all I think at the moment is 'You Lucky B*stard!!!' because that is what it is for the most part. Luck. And luck can be a spiteful bitch, so I don't/won't begrudge people taking advantage of of a little bit of control and exercising that control by purchases items with the coins they saved up ( which would otherwise be meaningless with Xur so get over it.) The End. (sorry that was long for ADD sufferers)

3 RepliesI got mine from the hard raid. I'm glad that everyone gets to use this gun now because it quickly has become my favorite to use. The down side is with all the whinny nerf hounds on the forums, I'm sure we will see 1000 nerf threads now. If that guns gets nerfed I'm done with this game.

5 Replieslol i never complained about xur, always happy that he's around so i can purchase weapons and armor from the guy :P i also love to see the forums light up with topics on people "earning" their gear or how they'll quit the game when xur sells a specific item. shows just how much of a crybaby most people are :P
