From a Warlock to other classes

I have seen many people complaining about Warlocks Melee being Op'd and 1 shot capable. The thing is we can say the same thing about Hunter's blink strike combined with the correct special abilities like increased melee speed and grenades regain melee energy to keep spamming your blink if you use the hopping grenades or the multiple grenade mine. As for a Titan we can say one thing the shoulder charge Aka the no energy needed Rhino Ram. What is more over Powered than a non-cool down ability that increases speed and has a 1 shot capability 100% of the time if landed. All three of these moves are capable of 1 shot, but warlocks and every other one shot capable powers should not be 'nerfed or changed. Lets take into account what Bungie is doing soon, they will be tweaking Warlocks Melee range, why? Because the PvP side say so. Now imagine this, have you guys ever thought of why we might have started out with a long range Melee? No? Well if you haven't noticed the Warlock class is the squishy one of the 3 and that is why we also have the reborn ability with us. Now imagine a level 30 pterion coming after a Warlock before this such "patch" we have long range to avoid getting too deep into confrontation and we can move back from danger from a safe distance. If the patch takes effect and to the other classes too, you guys are just making the PvE side suffer. We do not want another Mythoclast scenario where the weapon fully upgraded is basically trash with a weird design in the Hard raid in the Vault of Glass. So I say to the Bungie's team and other people, Leave the classes alone and just deal with weapon modification and less on what our powers are. Sincerely -A Concerned Warlock

  • There's no reason to tweak the range. I should be able to melee people no matter how far they are as long as their in my sightline. I'm -blam!-ing magic. If they nerf the melee range they should nerf shoulder charge and blink strike as well
