So your saying that a gun thats overpowered in pvp and weak in pve should be buffed to make it better? I think you should just use a different tactic. The game does revolve around you so dont expect bungie to jump up and help you play the way you wanna play........use a different gun. I get my butt kicked plenty by thorn in pvp. If you dont know how to use it then dont use it.

Hm. I never meant to imply that I think it is too weak. I already told that it is the reload time + small magazine which is making thorn a less good weapon that it could be. Lord High Fixer for example does the same job.. just better. And it is legendary, not exotic. And I will switch to Lord High Fixer once I got the faction reputation.

All im saying is obviously thorn is not intended for running into a group of enemies and trying to go all matrix on them. Every weapon is situational. So pop out empty your clip and duck into cover. Unless your running only rumble then stick with your teammates and theyll cover you while you reload. Thank you for not being a douche with your response and i apologize for being a dick with my initial post.

I tried thorn in a strike yesterday. On earth. That tank before the boss. My teammate shot a whole magazine on the boss with his scout rifle while I was reloading. That is not acceptable in my opinion.

Yes you should. However a hand cannon against the tank guy is like bringing a knife to a gun fight. I hate that part anyway and try to finish it as fast as possible. I personally hated the hand cannons because of there stability and i dont like the reticles. I recently got the last word from a nightfall and have learned they are fun to use, but impractical weapons against vehicles. You are right the reload times suck. Try finding armor with a reload for hand cannons buff. I guess what im saying is every gun has to have a downside otherwise why give them stats at all.
