Do you think the kid Shepard sees is really a manifestation of the indoctrinating forces of the reapers, and that either of the two decisions other than blowing up the citadel are what the reapers want you to do?

Not necessarily, if you remember who you are and what you're mission is (kill reapers, it's constantly repeated to you, like what Admiral Hackett says "dead Reapers is how we win this") then you might be able to overcome a warping of your mind.

Edited by Spooky Delusor: 11/9/2014 3:42:15 AMBut how could the reapers just suddenly indoctrinate you. It isn't consistent at all with how people become indoctrinated in the series. It isn't instaneous. People also don't go into a fantasy. They keep their consieness. Also why would a manifestation of indoctrination present you with the option to destroy the reapers or why wouldn't he talk it down more. He could've sarus it would be the only one that killed you and destroyed the mass relays. Finally, if you're fighting indoctrination, then why would you still be in the fantasy? There are way too many homes in that theory.
