Oh man, and now everybody is jumping to defend it >ITS JUST A PLACEHOLDER JUST BECAUSE THE ENEMIES, AND PLAY SPACE, AND SYSTEM IS ALREADY THERE ITS OKAY BECAUSE A COMPLETED MODEL ISN'T THERE. Bungie fanboys are why this game was shit in the first place.

  • Yah I swear bungie shits in their mouths and they say "yum yum" and ask for more. I'm hoping that most of them are hired PR Hacks, trying to put a shine on this turd... It would be really sad if they are actual gamers who are defending this boring, m monotonous travesty.

  • Yea cause the "fanboys" were there since development. Because people who can't constructively criticitze would have a positive reaction like they are so used to getting from the parents that spoil them. You and many others have no idea what codes, placeholders and game development entails. Saying "content is already in the game" makes you look real stupid to the people who are informed. To a kid ages 7-13, you're a genius

  • Lol that's how I feel I see all these people upset about that, and I instantly known who the dumb ones are.

  • I've learnt to ignore most of the fankids of this game. They keep defending the game and will do until the servers go offline. Nothing you can do to change their minds. At least most people accept its pretty bad practice to have this in game. You don't have placeholder environments filled with enemies, triggers, mini boss that just needs renaming... It's 90% finished.

  • But it's not finished, so why do you care what is in an unfinished area that will be fully released next year? You hate on a company for testing an idea in an area players are not permitted to access. Players are banned for picking up an item there if they find a way in. I'm not a fanboy, I'm just arguing your idiotic point. In fact, I strongly disagree with Bungie pairing with Activision and letting up control. I do, however, like the Halo games they made, and I believe in their capability and potential as a company. I think that Destiny is great for pioneering this genre for consoles.

Ha! Typical entitled prick. You all think "I payed my $60 for a game, I should get everything made for it." Image Here's some news for you: They need to test future ideas for DLC. I know you think that you should get more for the money you paid, but face it; you got a lot already. You can get how many pieces of gear, play three characters, explore four different worlds, and there will be small free DLCs periodically released. You will have to pay if you want the final product. If you want to whine like a 12 year old brat to Bungie, fine. Just know how idiotic it makes you seem for not understanding game development. While one team is finishing the game for launch, another is already working on and testing DLC. They left it in for more time to work. You shouldn't be in that area yet, and that isn't the finished area; it's a prototype. People say this game sucks and come here to brag about other games. News Flash: it sucks now from whining tone-deaf shart sacks like you. You drive down profits, so Bungie gives in. You're not the developers, doing what you want to the game isn't you're job. If was just how they wanted, and you didn't like it, that would be too bad. That is the real Destiny. Sorry I understand how they work to develop a game and stay in business by charging for an expansion for a game. Online MMOs charge to expand their game. But show your kind something new and you get a whinefest. Maybe one day these nerfs and buffs, content issues, and constant misunderstandings by idiots will be fixed and we will fulfill our Destiny and finally be able to become legend. Sincerely, One of your "Bungie fanboys" that make this game suck to begin with.

  • Entitled? How is he entitled? What?
Testing ideas for future DLC
So you're saying that they wouldn't test this in-house in their studio. They would test it live in the player world, leave it there from when the game launched, and forget to delete it afterwards. Right. Yeah. No.

They probably tested it in the already built game world to save time. The lead developer left a few months out from launch. The time constraint made it hard to work efficiently. They could have done a better job, but they needed to do other work than just work on future DLC. If the staff had been in order for launch, the DLC employees would not have had to work on other projects. Why would they delete it if no one should be there. All they have to do is update it and they can unlock the area with DLC.
