I have had multiples PS3 the Xbox360 the ps4 and the XboxOne since the day of real ease of each of them. Since then I have had 0 errors with any of my PS3s and all 3 of my xbox360s have had the red ring of death. With the new consoles I have never had a single issue with my ps4s. I have had some errors where my XboxOne freezes and needs a hard reset and for me to clear the cache. Other than that I haven't had any major issues. Microsoft and Sony have both given me stellar support when it comes to customer service. Personally I prefer the playstation because it has better specs and seems more user friendly to me. It's all personal preference because they're both great systems. If you're more into gaming then the PS4 is the console to get. But if you want to use it for tv and apps then the XboxOne is better. I use my ps4 for all of my major gaming and my XboxOne for more of Netflix and tv usage and some casual games that I don't play online.
I hope I was of some help. Best of luck with your choice.

My PS3 always took 3 minutes to reboot because of "insufficient shutdown" or something but I'd always use the option to turn it off as the PS3 instructed :/ PS3 was an unreliable console i my opinion. I could never just sign in and play off the bat.

I must just have damn good luck with mine then
-
Oh yeah trust me, you must have. Nothing harder then also trying to solve my sisters problems with her PS3. Netflix once quit working and said it couldn't connect so I did a test and everything was fine. Then for some reason was enough for Netflix to work :/... I don't question it anymore, if something finally begins to work I just let it be.

Fanboy alert. Says he's had all Xbox's red ringed. Denies that Playstation 4 overheats and freezes

Edited by Charger: 11/8/2014 6:59:56 PMI have had red ring on all three. After sending them to Texas to get fixed I've never had a problem. Since they've been fixed they've been flawless. And my ps4 has not overheated due to the fact that I have a fan to keep it cool I did have my ps4 get stuck on a friend request screen last night. Other than that no issues

Lies. Lies. We know you're lying. Can't keep that shit 4 hours without it going into meltdown ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
That fan is both optional and extra no?
-
Edited by Charger: 11/8/2014 7:01:31 PMCorrect. I have fans on every single playstation and Xbox I own. Both generations. It's a good investment and I think that everyone should have one no matter the console
-
You're implying the xbox has an overheating issue which is incorrect. Maybe you should put the extra fans on the ps ;D
-
No sir I am not implying anything. I'm just stating that I have fans on every console I own just in case any of them were to overheat. But yes the Xboxs has always been better on heat than the Playstations.
-
Even though the newer ones can't red ring anymore ._.
-
I said all three of my 360s had the red ring. Never had any major issues on my XboxOne
-
I honestly feel bad for playstation games, you can't play 4 hours without it overheating or fanning. I'm being that guy. lol.
-
If you have a fan on the console there are no issues at all
-
Lies, lies. Liar!
-
I'm sorry that you must have had a bad experience with your Playstation. I have not had any issues with heat. Maybe I'm just lucky.

Same with you Charger. I've never had a problem with my ps3 up until last week, it went into YLOD after 6.5 years. Even then, I just shut it off for a week, and booted it up today to it working fine(hope I don't jinx myself.)
