NO! Do not fix anything else bungie. From the recent history since Destiny's release it seems the more fixes and patches bungie release, the more bugs and errors tend to show up afterwards. The more they fix, the more gets broken. Remember that connectivity issue that cause more connectivity problems? Remember that zebra fix that created monkey errors? Even the baby bumpers for atheon now makes the raid look poorly designed. Now all I see is Atheon floating in air. They could've simply made it so that Atheon would no longer flee from AoE.

If you're seeing Atheon floating on the air, you're obviously trying to cheese him again... into the middle.

Pretty sure enemies fleeing from AoE/DoT nades is coded into the game-engine. Needless to say, they clearly tried to go with the easy route and it obviously backfired.

It's not coded into the engine but rather just simple responses to certain situations. If it was a game engine and atheon had AI like every other enemy then he wouldn't do the warping poses and such. They can easily rewrite his ai to not flee from aoe.
