I see Christmas as an opportunity to showcase one's selflessness... My father would give us twenty dollars to spend on gifts for each other, and whatever we had left over we could keep for ourselves... and after the first year we realized we didn't want to be the a**h*le who only spent a couple of dollars on our siblings. However it's one thing to be charitable when someone you know is on the receiving end versus a complete stranger you'll never see again. However, the best feeling in the world is getting something from a complete stranger.
