I am also getting frustrated. I see error codes HAWK, CATERPILLAR, but mostly I get DISCONNECTED from Xbox Live -- in the middle of a doggone mission. PLEASE FIX THIS BUNGIE!
UNDO the last patch, or maybe, I dunno, Fix It. Please! I do so love your game, but it's hard, if not impossible, to enjoy your game when it drops me every 5 minutes!

Still very much an issue. Tried a bunch of other -blam!-ing suggestions and not a single worked.

Can it be some sort of overload on the servers during those ''magical hours'' when a large part of Europe is still awake (couple of hours before midnight) and part of the US or some other big country/continent wakes up and wanna play? I notice that, starting aprox. around 21:00 at night, streaming material of the web get's slow. It's buffer galore around that time of the night on some sites. And it's definitely not my ISP. Im on a steady 250 Mb connection. I was able to play Destiny without any problems up until about 21-22:00.

Exact same problem. Hawk would disconnect me COMPLETELY from XBL, while Caterpillar would boot me to the main menu, and if I tried to sign back in to Destiny, THEN it would kick me off XBL. As of Yesterday I even started getting BEETLE, COCONUT, and SHEEP. I also wonder if region location is an issue... friends from Texas had problems before the update, but now work fine, while myself and others in the MA area are starting to experience those problems after the update.
