You don't have to wait a full day or longer to get a weapon or just a piece of a weapon in Destiny.

There is pros and cons of both games, they are both good games and I have played both for years, lol 40 400 light level titan, and 28 mastery rank on warframe, so I know the mechanics of both games well Similarities between both: both are grinding as hell, they both have limitations of certain gameplay but that's going to happen with every game as they are all limited by game memory size, maps can be repeated on both Warframe The communities is total greed when it comes to platinum Maps are way to simular With the mod system everything becomes op and the challenge of the game drops, exp soma prime with crit mods every shot is a crit hit with a 200 round clip yeah nothing loves past 3 shots Total pay to win if you have a life, you ever tried to grind for the weapons or frames the parts you need never drop and then when you actually get the parts 24 hours for the average gun and roughly 1 week to build that damn warframe who has the time to wait that long There is no real reason to aim in warframe the crit chances are based on weapons and stats, I have shot a guy in the leg for a crit hit and killed him outright in destiny you have to AIM to get that sweet shot On the plus side the gore is much better nothing better then slicing an enemy in half watching blood fly the way they look all sliced up and look like they have been through the blender is the reason I love warframe Destiny has its own limits of customisation but even with its limits it's hard to find 2 players exactly the same looking, limits on the guns and the attacks and perks on them all depend on the roll not mods, so 2 people could have the same gun and 1 be total better as it's got a better stat roll Now you do have to AIM in destiny you can't get a crit by shooting someone in the leg, There is no chat in destiny it's hard sometimes to get a group if it's not auto searched So over all destiny wins though but they are still both great games

Warframe: WAAAAAAY more things to do, more gameplay mechanics, much more gear, better in-game story. Verdict: Better game. — Destiny: More solid and playable mechanics, better cinematics, better playing environments, WAAAAAAAAY better lore. Like, superior to Halo. Too bad it's all hidden on a separate -blam!-ing website. Verdict: Better universe. There. Did I do good? Have I ended some of this war?

I have essentially completed both games. The biggest myths that continue about Warframe is "Pay to win", which is just false. I have hooked up several prime warframes and weapons without paying for them. Every item is available in the game without purchase. Furthermore, buying an item hardly gives you an advantage. You can't purchase exp points, so you still have to excel with the item to rank it up. Personally, it's not worth buying items in my opinion. I purchase things like extra inventory slots and "hurry ups" on forged items. That's about it. Second myth, Warframe is repetitive. Anyone who says this hasn't played enough destiny, or enough warframe. Destiny is the same every time. The respawn for example on Raids on the exact same every time. During raids, people call out spawns, "Sniper platforms". You run the raid the same every time, it's just a matter of execution. There are public event timers which are pretty darn accurate. Destiny is probably the most repetitive game I have ever played. It's grinding extreme. Warframe is anything but repetitive. Run the same mission twice. It's not the same. The map isn't even the same. A massive space trawler.. sometimes some corridors are open, other times they are locked. Just last night I had to complete the same mission three times for my Fieldron. All three times it was completely different. I just completed Second Dream on Warframe.. Wow. Now it all makes sense. The story has just gotten 10 times deeper than Destiny's and really.. after playing for over a 100 days.. It appears the game is just getting started. You cannot judge Warframe until you have played for at least a month. Warframe's biggest problem.. it's so emmense and deep that the casual player who installs it and plays it for a few days, hasn't even scratched the surface. You have no idea the immense depth, background, and challenge ahead. I love Destiny. Fun game.. Most people who peddle around with Warframe who don't like it, don't like the frenetic pace and think the handling and control is bad. Fact is, I can't play Destiny anymore because now I feel like I'm crawling around on my knees. It's so slow. I challenge you to complete the 2nd Dream Quest in Warframe and then tell me the game has no merit. You will not.

I love Destiny but am now on about 50 hours of Warframe and I would say the following.. Destiny is Warframe Lite, and I believe Destiny was entirely taken from Warframe. Warframe was created and released before Destiny.. The similarities are extreme. I think the guys at Bungie said, hey, how can we improve this genre for the masses, they did. But for a few, Warframe is far and above a superior game.. Depth No comparison, Warframe boasts 10X the customization and content. For every one gun in Destiny, there are 2 in Warframe, and furthermore, for every one upgrade there 100 more in Warframe. Stats I can look at any player in the game give you pretty much any stat. Headshots, accuracy for every weapon, what weapon they use the most, the second most. I can tell you exactly how many kills they have of every enemy. It's endless. Warframe documents more stats than major league baseball. FOR ME, this is pretty darn cool. Clanning No comparison. Warframe trumps. Create and customize you own clan Dojo, compete with other clans to control throughways, and territory Clan members can combine resources to build labs to create better weapons. Create custom clan insignia that display on your armor. This is only the tip of the iceberg. Communication No comparison. Warframe Trumps. All communications and organized within the game - region, clan, squad. Email within the game. Furthermore, you can trade items, gift items. Repetition This is the part that pulled me away from Destiny. No mission is ever the same in Warframe. Massive maps with changing shortcuts. Enemy never respawns the same in a mission with the exception of boss placement. This keeps the game ever changing.. I can tell you exactly when and where the spawns will be on most destiny maps.. I can probably run the Abyss blindfolded in Destiny. (That ogre always spawns in the same place doesn't he?) Customization No comparison.. I have hundreds of colors and dozens of textures to chose from. I can make my guns, landing craft, and armor pretty much any color I want.. Oh there are also custom textures. Crafting and Stealth Not in destiny. Warframe has stealth that is great.. Custom backstabs and crafting right up there with "The Witcher". Movement This is where preference dominates.. If you like fast ninja like Parkour, then Warcraft rules.. if you prefer more realistic movement then Destiny will be preferred... Warframe movement is more like Superhero movement and Destiny is more like normal human locomotion. Melee No comparison. Destiny has one button "Attack". Warframe has combos and multiple attacks nearly equivalent to "Street Fighter". That said, this might turn some "gun nuts" off. There are times when it's just frankly impossible to headshot the hoards of enemies pouring forth and then it's time to unleash with dual axes and while I love this stuff.. many think it's simply skill-less. (Lets see them survive a level 25 infested ship hull with their guns alone) but there are times when every pirate has to rely on the cutlass. Format This is probably the part most Destiny love children hate.. Pay to win, they call it. I Agree, I had my doubts.. I did not like the idea of some chump with 200 bucks coming along and overnight getting what I got over 2 months.. Fact is.. it doesn't happen. You see, there are too many indicators that demonstrate these people. They have crap stats and even though they buy great armor, they have to still level it up to make it powerful. In all honesty, to rule the game.. it would probably run you 5000 dollars. I said to myself.. This is a great game. I'll buy 60 bucks in platinum because that's what I spent in Destiny.. I got one average gun... One average melee weapon, an extra warframe, and some bells and whistles.. Overall did it help me advance? A little.. My estimate, to own all game objects would cost thousands.. 1% of all players will be able to own this game with personal funds.. Most buy bells and whistles that don't affect you leveling at all. Story Destiny wins here.. While Warframe has a huge and deep back story, it's mainly the thing of Wiki. Destiny blends in a backstory to a better extent. This personally matter naught to me. Destiny is a great game.. Warframe is a great game.. I think the trophy depends on what kind of game you like.. I personly like Warframe more. PVP THere are incorrect posts below.. Warframe has massive PVP. Clan vs. clan capacity to rule territory and the Conclave where many types of PVP scenarios exist.. Personally, I have crap internet so I don't PVP much so I can't compare the two other than yes, Warframe has a massive PVP following. Squad Based Combat I'm sorry, but it's completely assinine to me that I have to go to a 3rd party website to find people to do a Raid with. Yes, I have friends who Raid but on most nights, it's damn near impossible to find them all doing nothing.. I end up grouping up with people who are annoying, or know it alls and it takes an hour alone to get organized.. This is just absurd. Warframe has a recruiting channel for chat.. It takes minutes to find people in real time to do high level "sorties" with. You never have to leave the game in Warframe, or sit there with your cell phone looking for others to do an activity.. Warframe completely rules in this respect. Furthermore, warframe brings all platforms to the same world.. An xbox user can play with a PS4 user.. Should mention I am a Destiny Vet.. I know the game very well.

Warframe is pure pve so sure people like that. I thought it was good but 3 times it crashed on xbox and I lost all of my progress when it happened. So I can't promote that.

Warframe wins BY A LANDSLIDE

I dropped destiny not long after the release of TTK. Did the raid, got some gear, raised my light level, and...it wans't the same. The game became boring. It was very frustrating to do all the raid and get the same type of armor for the third time, or weapon. Wait a week to try again. I'm spending my time playing Warframe now. I've discovered that it is a great game. The game is based on grinding items too. But is fun. I grind with my friends, on diferent missions, elaborate strategies, try new weapons. But at the end of the grind, you do get what you want. Its easy to get what you want, without spending a single penny. Just time consuming. But then again, not much different than destiny. I saw many similarities. Factions, a Hub place to meet other players, a Xur like Guy. After learning the game, i felt i was in home. It was a Destiny upgraded. Even better at some points. Maybe the game can feel repetitive in the future, but for now, I'm having fun. I vot for Warframe.
