As long as playing solo, it depends on the player. But in cooperative, Hunter is often neglected in PvE because of this issue. Getting the game harder, this UX is critically harassing.
I've been playing as Hunter since I started. After she reached light 23, I thought I tried Vanguard Tiger.
But... At every time the strike starts, the other two bodies(most often Titan or Warlock) find me Hunter, and soon depart from game leaving me...Soooo funny and of course disgusting.
I don't usually play PvP. Then now I feel like giving up Hunter before getting to raid.

Don't give up the hunter, bd hunter with hungering blade can be useful when dealing with the mobs for the confluxes as well as stealth makes the gorgon maze child's play. Gunslingers gig is useful for the Athens teleport, on normal it takes out each oracle in one hit and is also useful for dealing with the supplicants.
