Lets Make Destiny...Its Time for Action -PHASE 1
[b]If you want anything to get done in this world , the first step is always to get word out , and find your allies.[/b]
I know this game has not been what it was promised to be. Destiny has disappointed a more than majority of the people who have played it. This game is empty and its clear to all of us who bought into the Destiny dream. All those lies and broken promises. [b]But the time to grieving is behind us. Its time to do something.[/b]
[b]All media is susceptible to other media[/b]
Social media and media pressure is a powerful tool. We live during a time that gives these tools to us free of charge, so lets use them.
[b]So heres what I purpose *we do[/b]
*people who feel lied to about what destiny was to be and how it actually is and want Change!
Go on [b]Twitter or Facebook [/b]but namely Twitter and

I know some of you may feel like we dont have any say or power but the fact of the matter is the Consumer has the most power. Simply choosing to buy one product over another is power. Being loyal to one brand over another is power. Voicing your frustrations and criticisms of a product you bought is power.

2. Make the game a ghost town. you have already wasted money, no need to waste time too.

4 RepliesWow, I'm really glad to see someone take the initiative to do something about this. It is so sad that there is no story. I haven't played since release week, and am now waiting for COD. If I end up playing Cod more then destiny, then that tells you something. (Note this is coming from a HUGE Halo fan

The story, meh, it is what it is. What pisses me off is the lack of content. A handful of strikes to be done ad nauseam, the same bounties to be done in the same places. The lack of places to explore (you literally start each mission in the same place and go through the same places to get where you're going). The mind numbing repetativeness is beyond compare. Even the queens bounties were all the same stuff, just for a new reputation counter. And this "dlc" coming? So incredibly underwhelming, we will be done with it in a week and then the cycle resumes. Would it be so difficult to give us some variety?

5 RepliesWell this isn't new, does anyone remember what happened to Mass Effect 3 when the whole community was in an uproar over its poor handling of its ending? It saw a huge patch that changed it to appease the fans and players. Complain and scream as loud as you can it'll bring more attention to the devs shortcomings And bring about change (PvP babies who cried about Vex mythoclast managed to get the games best gun nerfed we can do it too)

6 RepliesWow harsh, Destiny is one of the funnest games I have played in a long time. I have loved virtually every second of play. Also I don't know why you guys keep saying how bad the story is. Here is the story: Your a guardian in torn world where none really no knows what is going on. The story missions weren't supposed to explain everything. Your supposed to stick with the game and discover it for yourself. If that is not what you wanted then quit. Seriously if you don't like it don't play it. There is no reason to lash out at Bungie. If there game didn't meet your standards then that is unfortunate but don't try to ruin Destiny or Bungie. If you really want Destiny to change try being productive. Send feedback because Bungie really does listen to the community. Also be patient, realize that making and or adding to a game is a lot of work. It will take time.

They should of just incorporated all the cut content extended the release date and just got on with it tbh. It would of stopped all the negativity and uproar about destinys guts gone missing. It is not going to do anything at all. You cannot force them to do what you want no matter how much you think you can. So your attempt has failed before it has even begun. And yep I will buy the dlc just becuase you said not too. Nope I still will play it even after other games come out. nope not going to waste fuel on an already dead fire

Stop playing, get of the forums, and never mention the game again. What you will essentially be doing is entering into a collective staring contest with Bungie/Activision. I guarantee they will blink first. They need your money, and your approval, far more than you need their games. As long as you're talking about it, you keep it in the collective conscious of the gaming world. As soon it looks like they're starting to lose their fanbase, they'll start making changes. Any publicity you give them, even bad publicity, will be enough for them to sell Destiny 2 with probably very little difference from Destiny 1. If you don't believe me, look at Activision's other FPS cash cow, COD. Same game, year after year. Everyone I know bashes that franchise, and yet it's still here. Why? Because people won't shutup about it. That's why it's a household name, even though it's difficult to find someone who actually likes it. So if you're serious about making changes, don't flood the forums, empty them out. If they ask for feedback, reply with silence. They know what the community wants from them, and it doesn't bear repeating. The only thing left is for them to start doing it, and if you really are serious, about wanting them to improve the game, or making changes in how the Gaming Industry is currently being managed, then don't break that silence until they do.

I still think, with a few changes, this game can be the best game in years! The story is bad, the loot system is VERY bad, but other then a few glitches here and there (witch every game Has) i really like it. So if they add a good story, change the loot system to be less random and fix some glitches, this will be the best game in years! No need to ignore it, buy other games or tweet about better stories. But i do agree, we need some change or i to will find other means to satisfy my needs! #Feedback #Change #DeeJ

86 RepliesI've written a lot about destiny tonight on other posts so forgive my abruptness, what promises exactly have you so disheartened? From what I can tell they have a been kept to a very high degree. I mean Jesus Christ what did you expect? I expected a whole new type of mmo/shooter hybrid. Both mmo elements and shooter elements saturate this game. Literally. I expected an immersive story to begin and entice me to unravel it's mysteries and characters overtime and care about the objectives I had to complete to do so. Without even reading the grimoire cards I can tell you this story is brilliant if you have a morsel or imagination. I mean come on, you are a resurrected immortal warrior fighting for the survival of humanity against a foe that crushed it in the blink of an eye during the height of its power. I expected it to be social and rewarding to play as it was intended to be played, none of this loot cave or speed running strike crap. Destiny is a co operative game at its core and a fireteam will always make it better, but you are not restricted to be in one and can do the story alone. I have raided a few times now and I can tell you as a mmo player it's a miracle they have created such an immersive social and cooperative level of gameplay for a shooter of this magnitude. Halo was an awesome shooter but as a social rpg story developing game it can't hold a candle to this, YES it was never meant to be, but seriously, this game is on a whole new level in terms of a shooter. I expected the devs to listen to and change the game based on the community, and believe it or not this game has made leaps and bounds in its first few months based purely on feedback. Name ANY big budget game that can say that, and this games budget is a big as it gets. Look past the areas that can be fixed because they will be, instead enjoy the game as it was meant to be played, you will find very little wrong with it. It's an MMO too and ask ANY wow or terra gamer "hey so in mmo's do you have to go around killing the same enemies all the time for levels rewards or loot in general?" And you will probably get ignored as the question is so ridiculous. I expected a long drawn out trickle of the cream of the story...which it seems very few people did. Again I apologize if I sound abrupt but it's late and I'm sick of all this destiny bashing. Saying something like "this game has a better story so destiny should be changed to compete with it" sounds like something a child would say to their parents after getting a ps4 instead of the DS all their mates got. By the way I've accepted your challenge of finding a "better" story in a game and am pleased to say, for me, this game as a stand alone incomplete story if far better then most games. I would compare it to the brilliant story of mass effect or the ledgend of Zelda or deus ex. But how much you enjoy a story is very personal. And differing themes appeal to different people. Not everyone will like it, or its delivery. But anyone who likes Star Wars, doctor who or Star Trek or sci fi as a genre will love this story. My expectations have been met and I personally congratulate bungie on its creation and can't wait to see what's coming.

In the future destiny's story line will grow as more planets are added into the Playlist the level cap will increase beyond 32 all great things take time.
