Something has got to be done about the Regime
This weapon is ridiculous and EVERYONE runs the thing.
You know something is wrong when it beats a scout rifle toe to toe at mid range.
I tried my hardest not to complain about it, but it's at the point where I just can't play crucible anymore until something is done.

I out gun battle people with the regime all the time. It's just skill to some degree but yes the regime is everywhere. So be a hipster and shoot something else not so mainstream lol

The SUROS is not the problem. It's a good AR. It's slowed RoF helps people land headshots. It's not the only one. It's also not the only AR that is very good. The problem is the map variety. There aren't many maps that don't favor a mid to close range weapon. Only Bastion and the moon have long lanes that could favor something like scout rifles. These maps generally see more sniping as a result. Scout rifles are good weapons, but mediocre(<---majority, myself included) players need to hold the trigger down and "walk" rounds into their targets. Doing this at range is much harder. On top of this, every map offers areas for CQB. Shotties and quick charging fusion rifles rule these areas, but a good strafer can defend himself well with an AR here too. Until more map variety is offered to encourage weapon diversity, you'll see more ARs, the SUROS included (cus it's [i]exotic[/i]) in the hands of the majority (<---- read mediocre).

If any of the complainers took the time they waste on these forums, and put it into learning the in's and out's to this game you'd realize how balanced it is. When you get mad you don't think straight, clouding your judgement and making you repeat the same mistakes over and over. I've been playing FPS's for over 10 years. One thing that has made me better is shutting my mouth and being productive. If I'm not calling out strategy or tactics I'm not taking. I take accountability for my gameplay; If I did bad it's on me. Cheap tactics and OP weapons are not to blame. If they beat me with them I review the situation and deem whether I can counter it or if I just need to avoid it. What some of you need to start doing is recording matches with your voice. Review the games and situations you question and hear how much you complain. You'll then realize how childish it is. Weapons have their roles. Chances are you will see that you were not playing to your weapons strenghts, or trying to over extend it's functionality. Aka using a Scout Rifle in close range. After that I'd be willing to wager you'll start having more fun and see how all the pieces fit.

1 ReplyMid-range is auto rifle territory. Keep your scout rifles out of there, and you shall wreck. Also, Suros requires most shots to hit to kill. (Except for Iron Banner, but it should be powerful there)

I use Suros and love it.. I don't understand why when people get killed in the crucible they come on here to complain about weapons. I get shredded by fusion rifles non-stop in 1 shot. Also, between Thorn and TLW I'm like a red-headed step child but not once have a complained, asked for a nerf and blamed weapons.

About the only thing that needs fixed in the crucible ATM is starting with ammo for specials. That and respawn rate for those damn crates. Special ammo should not be as plentiful as they are. Damage for each weapon are appropriate. Learn to aim for the head and you to will be higher then a 1.0 k/d. Man up scrub and live with it. AR's in General got a nerf that was justified but asking for more on a GOD DAMN EXOTIC is pushing it. If you can't handle it then go back to CoD chump.
