Even though he sucks the crypt arch sees a lot of action through out the game... The poor gunsmith is pretty much useless being as pvp vendors and vanguard sell better firearms. Its asinine of Bungie to let a game with this many contradictory flaws make it to the public with these many flaws!

The gunsmith had more variety. There was a ranking system. There was actually more. It got cut for some reason. Just like you used to be able to buy strange coin from Xur

All I know is during beta the gunsmith only sold whites, after hitting lvl 8 he was pointless... Just like in the retail version
