Guys, on behalf of all Xbox people I want us to not buy the new dlc or any more bungie content until bungie changes their agreement with Sony and start to give Xbox people the exclusives that Sony people have been getting. Did you know that sony players In the next dlc will be getting 2 new strikes that Xbox people won't! We have been loyal to bungie for far too long! We deserve to be treated better. Help me by posting on this form stating your loyalties to Xbox. I believe if we can boycott their dlc they will realize they will loose a lot of money if they do t change things around. Stand strong with mr and in the long Run we will get equality. Spread the word. Xbox is on strike!

I love the whole timed exclusive crap. Xbox yeah we get cod content a month in advance the content from Sony doesnt come to Xbox until april of 2015. No one will be even playing this game then.

Of all the exclusives that Microsoft had and will have in the future it is so annoying to see this go up so much. There are loads of other reasons to not buy the dlc from Bungie, but console wars won't be my reason. More people bought the PS4, Bungie has long standing history with Xbox gamers. Makes more sense for Bungie to sign exclusive content with Sony over Microsoft, just to try and say "Hey Playstation users, we care about you too!". I will say that a whole year is a bit excessive, but if that's the deal they signed...

They signed a contract, or Activision did, which means they cannot legally back out without repercussions. It is incredibly unlikely that Activison would do anything that would result in them angering Sony and causing them to have to pay Sony for backing out of the contract. Boycott if you want, but Activison will never give up money they already have for money they might get.

Not really, the company in question is Bungie, so his argument is perfectly valid. Bungie wants to make some good faith with Playstation users that haven't played Halo, or at least haven't in awhile(since they sold their crappy 360 that had been sent in 5 times for RROD). Not saying all 360s are crap, I enjoyed the hell outta the games, but my 360 was crap so I bought a PS3, the original 80GB one. It's still running just fine today...idk how many years later. So obviously playstation likes me more than Xbox...anyway, point is the company in question created Halo for Microsoft exclusively, they want to earn some good faith with Sony now. Perfectly valid argument given the context.

That's the thing, we, on Xbox, have been with bungie for a [i]lot[/i] of time and I understand they made an agreement with Sony for exclusive stuff, but hey, at least they could tell me that I am going to have to wait for the exclusive stuff playstation is getting from the doc [b]before[/b] I buy the dlc [spoiler]I still like destiny[/spoiler]

Man u have yours exclusives too.....I don't know about sunset overdrive but Quantum break is fenomenal so far....I don't wanna hype it...because u know...Destiny..... and there is that MCC coming this month...and I think that with this alone ....Destiny numbers will dwindle on Xbox.....And there is that Halo 5 coming......and if you refer to timed exclusives when I heard that Tomb Rider will come first to Xbox I just wanted to head bash Phil Spencer Krogan style :)....I thought that Lara is everybody's girl.....guess I was wrong :))) But I feel you with Destiny...we all want it to be great....but for now is a big let down Respect

X-box need to fork out the cash for exclusive content, if not PS4 will keep getting it. Lets face it X-box did this with COD PS4 users had to wait for month to get the same DLC or content

Exclusive DLC in its own is a -blam!-ing joke no matter the platform . I didnt pick my system based on DLC. A good portion of the gamers went with their choice system because of friends or the controller , some like me it was a lot of reasons including the coustom support we received in the past . Its fn sad to see the gaming industry try to make console sales off DLC . Im glad M.S passed on the exclusive rights , and I'm going to pay it forward by not buying the DLC at all

I don't have a problem with playstation getting exclusives and I would never boycott the game over something so stupid, but you have to admitt that a month delay for some multiplayer maps is nothing compared to a year delay or more for a strike is freaking rediculous. They should have given it to Sony users for free and forced xbox users to pay a little more. That makes more sense and would be a better buisness move.

Good luck, Chuck. Activision, not Bungie, has the controlling interest in the marketing of this game, including promotions such as exclusivity. Bungie signed that right away with their contract with Activision, then Activision went and made a lucrative deal with Playstation for Destiny in order to double-dip exclusives on each console (CoD on Xbox, Destiny on PS). Obviously PS made a strong push with their exclusivity deal, and that's why we're where we are. Bungie didn't turn their backs on Xbox players. This contract was signed before PS or Xbox were pegged for exclusivity deals. Without Activision (and thus Sony agreeing to it) allowing for change to the exclusivity deals, Bungie can't realistically (or legally) do anything here.

I have an Xbox one, and I will be buying the DLC... Cuz I really don't care too too much about *one* extra strike to play over and over again while grinding for vanguard marks.

I wonder: what if Bungie made content exclusive for Xbox? A way to side step the contracts in-place. I know it won't happen, but I think it would save face quite a bit.
