Well he's not wrong. Croat is a knight, but he's not a giant one because his sword would be too small for him.
English

That was Crotas knife
-
Crota's butter knife
-
I liked the idea someone posted in another topic that Crota was originally a Guardian who devolved into what he is now. That sword could be the one he used as a Guardian, whilst he forged himself another one larger that he uses now
-
Maybe the size of the sword changes according to the person who wields it (like the ring from LOTR where it changes the size to fit Sauron to a hobbit)
-
Sauron was a hobbit Educate ya self ya fool
-
Lol..Check what an Ainur is. If u don't know what u r talking about at least have some respect.
-
If it did then the sword would of been gigantic during the mission Sowrd of Crota, then it would of shrunk down to your guardians size.
-
But it suits the size of the swarm Prince who protects it...
-
Edited by dudeware: 10/31/2014 6:35:44 AMYes... What's your point? The swarm princes are the same size as regular Knights.
-
So if the sword was gigantic how can they move it if required...no point all guess work here !
-
I'm going to be very blunt with you, stop posting replies on the Internet if you have no idea what the original comment is about. You're just embarrassing yourself now.
-
All these are speculations anyway...why so hostile . I'm just saying what I think, the sword size can change if crota holds it maybe due to his dark powers. Possibility that's all...
-
And I'm just saying, there's no where in the destiny universe that states this is a possibility, so it's most likely not going to happen unless the writers are awful.
-
But in the same way no when is it said this power doesn't exist.
-
Well they haven't said that unicorns and lollipops exist in destiny but I'm positive that they aren't in destiny
-
How awesome would it be the next time you out on patrol you find a vex unicorn.
-
Or he could be a scaled up knight with a scaled up sword.
-
Ok, then explain to me why they can scale up a knight even though they have already stated what a knight looks like through gameplay but they cant do the same for a sword.
-
You didn't play the story did you? Please go play the sword of Crota mission and come back and look at your comment with shame.
-
Actually I have played that mission several times and I havent found anything in it that says the game designers cant scale up a sword.
-
Seriously, think before you comment. I'm not joking, stop for a good 10 seconds and think about why they can't scale up the already small sword for the raid if they've already stated through gameplay what Crota's sword would look like..... Please think hard
-
I thought hard...turns out I was right.

Edited by CleverImp: 10/31/2014 1:56:21 AMdudeware is saying that relative to the size of his sword in "THE SWORD OF CROTA" crota mission, Crota himself should be normal sized. If not, then his sword, as we have seen it, would be much too small for him. That or they need to rename the mission "The toothpick of Crota"
-
Exactly. They have not stated in the destiny universe that hive weapons can grow or shrink depending on the size of the entity wielding it so Crota must be the size of a regular knight.
-
Hahahaha crotas toothpick
