• I just got Thunderdevil and love it, it makes for kind of a dark shiny gray color, works great on my Titan.

  • Troll post ahead...lol Black is not a color...it's the absence of color.

  • actually black is the combination of all colors, white is the absence of color. which is why mixing colored paints will eventually get you to black while nothing can be mixed to make white. you have to remove all coloring/dyes to make a media white. bleaching removes colors from clothes. sun light/white light is a combo of all colors in the visible spectrum while black space/darkness is the absence of visible light. white clothes reflect visible light while black clothes absorb all colors of the visible spectrum which is why white looks white, it reflects all colored light and retains none, black reflects none and retains all. thats our art/light lesson for the day. :)

  • ACTUALLY....you're wrong....but we may be talking semantics. With regards to pigments...black is the presence of all colors and white is the absence of all color. With regards to light...the opposite holds true. So for light... Black is the absence of color (and is therefore not a color) Explanation: When there is no light, everything is black. Test this out by going into a photographic dark room. There are no photons of light. In other words, there are no photons of colors. 2. White is the blending of all colors and is a color. Explanation: Light appears colorless or white. Sunlight is white light that is composed of all the colors of the spectrum. A rainbow is proof. You can't see the colors of sunlight except when atmospheric conditions bend the light rays and create a rainbow. You can also use a prism to demonstrate this. Fact: The sum of all the colors of light add up to white. This is additive color theory.

ya i guess you didnt understand my wording, because we are in agreement. in pigments black is all colors, in light black is darkness and the absence of all visible colored light. but in relation to this discussion about shaders you are wrong, because you told the OP his favorite shader pigment color black isnt a color but the absence of color. ;)
Troll post ahead...lol Black is not a color...it's the absence of color.

With regards to pigments...black is the presence of all colors and white is the absence of all color.
• People liked black long before those Emos came along. I just like the color is all, especially on my car. I had to suck it up a bit when I bought the Destiny PS4 bundle. Holding a white controller takes some getting used to, same with staring at a white console.

  • My comment on DO's suggested persona has nothing to do with shader. You misunderstood my post.

  • I didn't take it as an insult. I answered like I did to avoid having some idiot claim that Emo people started the whole black craze, I've had arguments like this before but those were face to face. No harm man.
