Sounds like you're describing world of warcraft endless grinds of the same old crap. That doesn't get boring either. Have some patience, more content will follow and all your questions will be answered

You'll get the other half of the game if you pay for it! Normally, DLC is meant to expand an already rich universe, but not in this game. That's okay, though. I think we should let Bungie get away with it because it's Bungie." Ahh... better.
