Edit #3: Wow, this is just blowing my phone up! Please continue to either support this or hate this. All of this will show bungie that they need to stop being lazy. We did this cheese after spending over two hours on atheon (praetorian on Venus kept glitching and didn't want to die 9/10 times). And yes, I have done hard mode twice prior to this the legit way (post patch) and never spent this long on atheon. So you can see why we started doing this. :p
Edit #4: To everyone asking how exactly it was done, I shall tell all! It's quite simple. In the beginning; hide. He should go right to the middle. Let him teleport and do his thang. When you get close to killing the last oracle have someone behind him throwing grenades (we had a Titan, but a Warlock will work as will). Try to get him going towards the right portal (Mars; future) as that's what we did here. When he went left (Venus; past) he would teleport back to mid. This has to been done within that 30 second window of "Time's Vengeance", because after that he will teleport to mid and teleport people. Make sure everyone else in mid and the shield is up. He will stand on the shield and when the shield is dropped he should fall.

People still need to be able to survive 1 round of ports for this cheese so it's definitely not as easy as before. Good luck trying to pug it. All the cheesers are coming out in force and most don't have any idea how to survive even one round so this becomes far more painful than it's worth.

34 RepliesIt's so easy to beat him legit that this is a non issue TBH. If you're not lvl 30 by now you're doing something wrong. And once your group is 30 the combined dps should be sufficient enough to down him in 1, 2, or 3 Time Warps. Folks should also be honest with themselves if they don't know how to beat him legit. They should also take the hard raid seriously because people don't want to waste their time otherwise.

16 RepliesSee here's my problem with people that have a problem with cheesing a boss. RNG Most people do this bc A. It's easier B. if you don't get anything you don't feel cheated. Bungie screwed up by not having a boss drop raid armor 100% of the time, say you beat atheon. You are gaurenteed he drops a helmet, chest, legs, gloves. I wouldn't care if he dropped boots for me 4 times in a row. But I've gotten chatter white 5 times now. I've gotten zero exotics from the raid. I've got a shit ton of ascendant shards though, but nothing to upgrade. RNG is the problem. The fact you can only do this raid once per week on one character is another. People don't like spending an hour to two hours heck maybe even three hours and get screwed at every single loot drop. Bungie, ya done goofed.

You can tell who are the ones who don't or will never play GTA, Saints Row or any other game that requires decision making which can give you many possible outcomes..they need to stick with Sims with that high and mighty in game morality bs. It's a game, I didn't cheese the final boss when I first played but after 3-4weeks and still no vex myth. Oh I'm spreading his vex ass all on my warlock crackers.

LOL there is not praetorian glitch (Guess there is I just havnt seen it) My bad. You couldnt kill him 9/10 times because you suck. Our team ran into glitches where we would get trapped in a shield while getting teleported or only 2 would get teleported and you know what? We overcame it anyway with skill, communication, and quick thinking. For example. We had one moment where I got killed as the relic carrier. Instead of giving up and blaming glitches I quickly told one guy to pick up the relic and finish off the last add and called for two guys from the outside to go through the portal and finish off the oracles till the shield carrier could cleanse and continue on. This is what the raid is all about. Now stop being little shits and let Bungie get to fixing real issues rather than hafting to deal with bullshit exploits that people need to do in order to accomplish anything. Edit: Alright I admit I overreacted. Bungie just fix yo shit please.
