Destiny not even 2 months old !!!! Plz read this "gamers"

Listen I have played many respectable Mmorpg in my life before and still am !!! , when a mmo comes out it is never perfect for eg diablo 3 was a huge mess up on release but to this day one of the best played games in 2 years, why , bec after every patch and update it has had messing it up there was one to fix it , same as WoW and guild wars 2 and so forth , there are times for trial and error and if you are a true gamer you should all know this by now !!! Give bungie a chance and this game will be played for many years!! Trial and error nothing cannot be fixed when there's a will there's a way !! And I haven't even played this game yet and I can tell you now despite all the errors I'll reap the reward of playing constantly !!! Bungie has truly made a remarkable FPS RPG that I have been dying to play !! Give them time they know what the issues are as I have read this forum from top to bottom

  • If you haven't played the game, you have no relevance to the issue, dumbass!! Yes, Bungie makes great games, yes they are gorgeous and fun of great combat and adventure. But you haven't the slightest clue what your talking about if you haven't experienced it yet!! Let me guess: your just a Bungie fanboy who would buy anything they throw at you because your gullible and you like the halo franchise?! Yes? That's the only card you can dish out, not realizing the the lack of Lore, story content, console exclusive only content, and never ending grind-fest galore! The only way you get to understand the story is if... A. Watch the intro/Prologue or... B. Go to the website or App to read the, very limited I might add, back stories of pointless characters that have no relevance to the overall game. And you have to leave the game to view it!!!!! Its not even in the game!!!!!!!! The very game doesn't contain its own plot yet it takes over 10 gigs to put on your hard drive!!! Not to mention you have to install it to even play it!! It content is literally 1/5th of any other decent games content. But you have to pay for all the so-called expansions that were supposed to be in it in the first place!!!!!!!! So don't just sit there and back Bungie and Activision with that dildo up your ass when you clearly have no -blam!-ing clue what the hell your talking about kid!! Read a book, do some research, and shut the -blam!- up!!! Thank you

    • Yeah really, play the game before making that statement. We spent $60.00 and well sort of wondering where the rest of the game is!? Also think about this, for those of us who have actually played the game and were misled and seriously disappointed - just think about how disappointed you will be with paying an additional $35.00 for what you would hope to be and don't get. A game like this should not have been released as it is, I may have paid $30.00 for what we got - but it's definitely not worth $60.00 and no hopes of anymore content in the future. So that leads me to believe that have no intention of releasing more stories for what we paid and only dropping little bits of crumbs hoping that will satisfy the gaming world. To me this is unacceptable. They know this, but what boggles my mind is - how they envision keeping Destiny alive? I don't see it happening, hoards of posts from unhappy gamers that feel cheated - we play hoping that Bungie will realize this but in the end I doubt it. Here in the next couple of months with new releases to hit the shelves, most of us will start playing other games. Then once we start playing these other games and realize, wow why couldn't Bungie have added more content like these companies? Bungie should have had many add ons for the price of $60.00, wither Halloween ( which was a total joke) public events, which I like but again they drop the ball there as well. They could very easily add more public events with very little effort on their end, not sure if Activision or Bungie are trying to make billions off this, but their actions will only fail them. I want this game to be great, but I am losing hope that it will.

    • My grammar isn't the greatest so excuse me if you may. The game is fun. I think that's all anyone should care about me personally. And we should all agree if you haven't played the game, just don't tell the people who have played it that they're over-reacting and such. From my personal experience I enjoy the game. The disconnects do get to points of bowling rage at points. And I have on multiple occasions had the error codes saying that my internet is to blame. When of course I know that isn't true. But if we all look past it we'll still see a game that has promise. In conclusion, the game itself is fun and entertaining. But multiple issues for the price of the luxuries. The game is for those who play it, for those who don't have it; play the game before you criticize those have since release.

    • Until you have purchased and played this game and experienced the frustration first hand you need to keep your holier than thou douchey comments to yourself. We all have an investment in this game all you have is your big mouth.

      • Um no. The game is still unplayable, utterly and completely unplayable, by a really large portion of the playerbase. This has been going on since 3 weeks after launch of this "game", and Bungie has made no effort to fix it, all they've done is try to sweep it under the rug and hope the rest of you didn't pay any attention. So I would say any game that is that willing to completely -blam!- over that many players that quickly....is not going to be someone you want to trust to invest playing their game. I suggest people go play something like Warframe or well anything else that A: actually works and B: the devs don't act like douchebags on. Destiny has no future, the devs are only interested in money, they only care if you give it to them, they do not care about your playing experience.

      • The fact you haven't played shows exactly how far in the dark you are. You can't possibly say anything if you have yet to even play. There are people who still can't play from connection issues! They changed an entire mechanic of a boss fight because too many people had completed it and had the nurve to call it a bug, even though they watched many teams complete it how it was. Every "fix" they have implemented has broke the game even more then it was. I have far to many hours into destiny I love this game. But I have more problems with it every day. You have no leg to stand on until you have completed all content.

      • Do they? They certainly don't care about the community. To use your example! On its release and weeks after, Diablo 3 was a bug filled game, that needed a lot of fixing. Destiny is not a game. It is the Destiny beta, with the same initial gameplay copy and pasted on to 3 other worlds. It has no story, very little plot, no characters worth mentioning or remembering, little strategy, no end game, no rewards worth anything once you hit the 29-30 mark, and no player driven cooperative. Everything in destiny is based around either RNG, or grinding. If it were an indie game on steam, critics would be going at it nonstop for how not a finished game it is. And thats all without even touching the issue of Destiny denying half their community a chunk of their dlc, for no reason, while expecting them to still pay the full price for it.

        • Destiny has the potential to be one of the best games ever made but as of right now I see it going down the tubes really fast. The way Bungle is doing the DLC is just selfish and money hungry. Most of the DLC on the damn disk. How the hell do they expect us to pay $20 dollars for something, same as PS4 price when we get less stuff and the DLC is already on the disk that we bought for $60.

          • Went through 4 years of High School, never thought id see grammar problems as bad as the ones i witnessed back then. I have been proven wrong by both your OP and every single subsequent post you have made You are now obligated to pay for the Chemotherapy i require to rid myself of the eye cancer your lack of proper English has given me. Of course, then there's this
And I haven't even played this game yet
Which automatically voids any kind of argument you make, good or ill, about the game.

Then why put the game out when you know it won't be fully functional? Only in the gaming industry is going live with a game that is not 100% fully functional acceptable. In any other industry that type of behavior would cost you millions if not billions of dollars, lawsuits, and your customer base. The gaming industry needs to get its shit together and stop putting out games that are not 100% fully functional from day 1, and the people who play these games need to stop accepting anything but games that are fully functional from day 1.

What the -blam!- are you taking about? How can you say the game will get better? Not every flawed game does. And if you haven't even played how can you say anything, let alone that it's remarkable?

                        • Okay, you're basing your opinion of a game that you've never played upon games you've played produced by other companies in the past. Does this not tell you may have come to expect failure from the gaming industry? If your bank introduced a new online system that was unworkable or insecure, would you still say, "It's okay, no piece of software of good to go when it's first made. I'll live with it while they resolve the issues." What about a car manufacturer? Would you still use your car if there were an manufacturing defect with a safety feature? Would you expect there even to be a defect with a car's safety feature at point of sale? Hopefully, you wouldn't. I may seem naïve to expect a game to work from the point of sale, but I do. Product testing is there to reduce (if not all but eliminate) the issues that can hit customers. Bungie have made a big thing about the data they can extract from their servers. It is not unreasonable to expect them to have loaded these servers prior to release In order to test the game and the servers. In fact, it's pretty essential. What I don't expect is for them to focus on some tiny point of (what they call) failure because the community found a way round a boss while there are other more pressing issues to address, while the community is generally baying for blood.
