A message to Deej
Alright, the patch is here. Does the feedback from people surprise you and the Devs? It really shouldn't, for the past week people were saying how this is a bad idea and how it doesn't add difficulty - but frustration. I can't tell you how many times I have wiped in this raid due to actual bugs.
Example 1: Two guardians being sent into Mars or Venus instead of Three
Example 2: Relic special not working
Example 3: Relic randomly drops and are unable to pick it up again
Example 4: Oracles not taking damage
These are real issues. A raid being out for 2 months and having mechanics that people are familiar with and able to complete the raid in coordination with one another isn't an issue. It really boggles my mind that there are real issues with this raid that haven't even been addressed.
On another note, you have promised us an upgrade (I don't have the weapons but I understand players frustration who do have them) bad juju and thorn. Seriously? It took you guys a few days to nerf Vex, oh surprise there, nerf because of PvP when it's a PvE weapon. Yet you mentioned these two weapons being below their abilities and that they will be fixed, nothing has even happened since that was mentioned nearly two months ago. The expansion comes out pretty soon so I think it's safe to assume there will be better weapons out there so bad juju and thorn will be obsolete.
I [b]USED[/b] to have extreme amounts of respect for Bungie, it seems that you guys have changed your ways however. My respect has definitely dropped since this game was released, I hope that will change but for now I just straight up don't trust you anymore.
Edit: Bump or like if you agree, hopefully we can get some sort of a reaction from the REAL issues.
Edit 2: Obviously I didn't get all the bugs in the raid, just the ones that were most noticeable to me.
Edit 3: This post has received a lot of support which I didn't even expect. Keep it coming and hopefully Deej will see this (he claims that he does read a lot so let's see if he can say anything to address these issues)

Atheon isn't an exploit not was the Templar spot it called strategies everyone has a role but now everyone will have different roles and making it harder for new people but nooo everyone who defending them is just saying that cause they already got the Vex or hit level 30 from this "exploit" so much for strategies in a game

7 RepliesWhats sad is the fact that in the almost 2 months the game has been out, they have..... 1) fixed the cryptarch - nice fix, but thats was it. 2) nerfed mythoclast and pocket infinity - terrible idea as both guns suck now. 3) added baby bumpers to atheon and implemented random teleporting to the portals. oh and destroying the servers. These are the 3 MAIN things they have "fixed" so please ask yourself this: In just under 2 months, we have an extremely small amount of "fixes" of which most weren't fixes at all. What the -blam!- is your development team doing, Bungie? Sitting on their asses all day? Did they quit because you released such a shit game? Or is your "elite" dev team just your cover up for the day care you guys run back there?

ANd those shardss and energies! I don't even know what to do with them anymore.. and i've beaten the hard raid at least 6 or 7 times already. i cant even keep track anymore. i keep getting the ship and sparrow most of the time. i have total of 4 or 5ships and i dont even get anything from dismantling them. if the loot system suppose to be random pleaseee make it actually RANDOM. <3 (yes, I'm complaining) p.s. now, every time I finish the hard raid or nightfall strike, I don't even feel excited anymore like the first 2 week of playing the game cuz i feel like i'm gonna get the reward that i probably already have or some shards that i can't use.

12 RepliesAgree, lost so much respect for bungie. I don't even want to pickup the remastered halo anymore actually. About to ditch destiny. With all these server errors in the middle of a nightfall as they patch shit we told them we don't want.

1 ReplyBump. Dafuq bungie? There are major issues and pushing Atheon off was an easy way to get past the MANY BUGS THAT YOU CHOSE TO IGNORE. Another notable one would be Minotars not taking damage from the RT attack from the relic.

Great post. Don't patch the things wrong, bugs that have caused a dozen wipes on smooth runs. Just lie and say random teleportation was a bug, discourage taking in new players to the vault, eliminate team roles and make certain there is one way to play: randomness. Bloodborne's boss design will sh!t all over POS Atheon...5 times harder and infinitely better designed.

1 ReplyHonestly the only thing that bothers me is that this game has so much potential but it seems that bungie is doing absolutely nothing to keep us here. This is game is fun and I play everyday but it starts to wear on you when you sit here and think of all the shit they should change that could make this game amazing and knowing it's just not gonna happen.

One good thing I can actually use a scout rifle in the crucible so that's nice. How is it that this game still doesn't have match made game chat wtf! Can anyone put out a full product at launch.

Totally agree. I completed the exotic bounties for both Thorn and Bad JuJu, and they [i]still[/i] haven't done a single thing to help them out. Why don't they focus on the "right now" problems instead of useless things like "fixing" the Iron Banner when it may not even appear again before next year?! The whole situation is just outrageously stupid.
