A message to Deej
Alright, the patch is here. Does the feedback from people surprise you and the Devs? It really shouldn't, for the past week people were saying how this is a bad idea and how it doesn't add difficulty - but frustration. I can't tell you how many times I have wiped in this raid due to actual bugs.
Example 1: Two guardians being sent into Mars or Venus instead of Three
Example 2: Relic special not working
Example 3: Relic randomly drops and are unable to pick it up again
Example 4: Oracles not taking damage
These are real issues. A raid being out for 2 months and having mechanics that people are familiar with and able to complete the raid in coordination with one another isn't an issue. It really boggles my mind that there are real issues with this raid that haven't even been addressed.
On another note, you have promised us an upgrade (I don't have the weapons but I understand players frustration who do have them) bad juju and thorn. Seriously? It took you guys a few days to nerf Vex, oh surprise there, nerf because of PvP when it's a PvE weapon. Yet you mentioned these two weapons being below their abilities and that they will be fixed, nothing has even happened since that was mentioned nearly two months ago. The expansion comes out pretty soon so I think it's safe to assume there will be better weapons out there so bad juju and thorn will be obsolete.
I [b]USED[/b] to have extreme amounts of respect for Bungie, it seems that you guys have changed your ways however. My respect has definitely dropped since this game was released, I hope that will change but for now I just straight up don't trust you anymore.
Edit: Bump or like if you agree, hopefully we can get some sort of a reaction from the REAL issues.
Edit 2: Obviously I didn't get all the bugs in the raid, just the ones that were most noticeable to me.
Edit 3: This post has received a lot of support which I didn't even expect. Keep it coming and hopefully Deej will see this (he claims that he does read a lot so let's see if he can say anything to address these issues)

1 ReplyBUMP: the only thing Bungie is attempting to patch is their pride. Every thing else is busted. -insufficient personnel teleportation -glitching when walking through portals. -health regen from oracles/gatekeepers/hobs/minotaurs/etc. -etc -etc.. When you fix your game email me. I'm not even going to attempt the hard raid this week because of this obnoxious random teleport patch. It would be time consuming enough with my clan( IF we could complete it now.) Let alone to pick up randoms to do it with. Casual gamers don't have billions of hours to pump into this game. Calculate all the bungie fails into...ANYTHING in Destiny, and it takes 3x as long.

Bump just ran the hard mode last night and ran into all of this bugs and now with this update it's just stupid now. Thanks bungie for adding more bugs to the game. Had no problem wiping a couple times for these bugs before the update now it's just getting ridiculous. Thanks bungie

Have also sometimes been blown to bits without anything shooting at me or anything beeing able to shoot at me.. (has happen both in raid and in nightfall )

2 RepliesGetting the real feeling that anyone with talent and real innovation left to form Certain Affinity and 343i. Bungie does not seem to be the same studio. Even Frankie is a better community lead then Deej. Bungie use to have a clear vision of their games. Now, convoluted and disconnected cannot even begin to surmise to problems at Bungie. I think the saying jack of all trades and master of none is the only peg that will fit into Bungies hole.

5 RepliesI'm sure Bungie and Deej know all these issues, the number of times he has read posts like this could be unimaginable. So with saying that, I do agree with your points and believe they should definitely be fixed. It's a lot more than what you mentioned though. It just seems like you're pissed off because they nerfed a gun you like, that is not game ruining. Every game does it, Bungie has at least acknowledged that it was silly nerfing them so much so they are going to make them a little stronger sometime in the future. You also do realise that they probably have thousands of other things they need to do? I and many other people would like some sort of a trading system and a more fair loot system. Especially in raids, but don't you think they know this? They aren't dumb and clueless like everyone thinks they are. I know for a fact that they are trying and we should give them a chance. Bungie are great at listening to the community, but these things take time.

Bump for Truth. I hope Deej pays attention to it but I wouldn't hold your breath on that meaning anything. Evidence yesterday was that even if there is near consensus on a point (randoporting) the Devs aren't really interested.

2 RepliesThe only true patch that was necessary was the Criptarch loot trolling. Other than that the game was okay and just needed some new content every one or two weeks. Most of the so called "fixes" broke the game because they were catering to kids yelling at people who took THEIR OWN TIME and bust their a-$$ to get the exotics.

Destiny is frustrating, it isn't tactically challenging. and that goes for most of the game not just the Vault Raid (as there will be others with probably just as many problems). Bosses are STILL bullet sponges. (seems to be to a lesser extent now but still) there's very little tactics to them, no real vulnerabilities bar 'shoot it in the head' mentalities' - the only exception I've seen is the public events fallen walkers, which go down LIKE THEY SHOULD when you follow through the leg targeting then AI core targeting. - they don't last forever, especially not with how they can obliterate entire strike teams as quickly as they can. there are too many exotics that need fixing and buffing but all that seems to happen is nerfing to appease a limited or forced PvP minority (Bad Juju, Thorn, Pocket Infinity (victim of over-nerfing (IT'S EXOTIC FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!!)) and now rumors that Suros Regime, which is frankly sitting right where it should be for an exotic is going to get a further nerf (in addition to the AR re-balance) as well? I'm far too close to shelving Destiny, or outright trading it in and leaving the grind fest to those with more patience and tolerance for mediocrity. (frankly I think I've done pretty well waiting for something as simple as a buff for thorn and BJ for near two months whilst the nerfs keep coming in) Fix your raid's bug's before you fix it exploits (make it a standing rule) and maybe people wouldn't be looking for cheaper ways to get it over with rather than going through it legitimately, which is painfully frustrating enough as it is with the cheap, total party kill conditions. Get your priorities straight Bungie. I'm one of the many who pay your wages and I'm getting sick of this.
