On a side note, did you ever get lucky with the upgrades to your Cryptic Dragon! Explosive rounds [i]and[/i] Firefly?
Mine has crappy ammo perks. Bah.

Ha, I was very lucky. Got it after a crucible game and checked it out directly. Couldn't hold myself when I red it has Exploding rounds and Firefly all in one. One of the best weapons I've played with so far. Just as epic as a dragon itself ;)

On the whole I think the Cryptic Dragon is a top-tier scout rifle. I also have The Calling and A.1F19X-RYL with Firefly and it beats them both hands down. How much fun do you have lighting up mobs? Man, them upgrades.

It's much fun :D Everything explodes around you as you fire, and when your enemies die, they blow up in a explosion which throws back other enemies. Combined with a Sunsinger Warlock who's able to let enemies explode with a melee attack, you gain a lot of looks from other players while playing strike, because everything lights up and explodes ;) As I said, best weapon so far.
