got passed server issue.
Keep hitting X after you dismiss the error msg and you should get in. Took me about 10 tries.

The PSN servers seems to be over-stressed, it's hit or miss when connecting. I've connected 3-4 times, but had 20-30 failures when connecting to PSN.
