Considering that a majority of the first months updates were addressing the raid, I would say perhaps the crucible was due some attention. Especially because the crucible does not have a level and gear requirement to play, and what needs to be fixed in the PvP is balance changes rather than putting in entire missions, like people seem to want, it's more time spent polishing than clunkily adding to a broken story with little to do.

Not to mention, 85-90% of the upcoming expansion is PvE based. 1-2 PvP maps is hardly and expansion for PvP when all the rest of the expansion is gear, raids, strikes, missions and an expansion into the storyline. I'm a 50-50 type person. If my friends are on we do strikes the raid and weekly events. If not I'm buried in patrols or PvP. Aside from a few minor glitches in PvE and the super grind, I love it. -blam!- a storyline. I don't necessarily need one when all I want to do anyway is to bullshit with my friends, collect shit and shoot shit into oblivion.
