• I agree. Dead Orbit are cowards. Im aware you arent the biggest New Monarchy fan such as myself, but listen to this qoute from our leader, Executor Hideo... "Dead Orbit, they're low grade people, want to cut and run. No backbone." Basically sums up Dead Orbit. I have no problem with FWC, its those hopeless Dead Orbit scum who get on my nerves.

 • I jumped back and forth between the Factions for a little while, but as things unfolded I realised that none of them are as great as they appear. We all start representing the Vanguard with the least loaded and noble goal of them all, protecting the city from the darkness. As great as that is there isn't really an end goal and so we turn to the factions. At first I liked the idea of Dead Orbit, returning humanity to glory with our own strength. After all we were the ones who activated the array, halted the Hive plans, began diplomacy with the Awoken, broke through the Cabal exclusion zone and put an end to one facet of the Vex. But despite not knowing the true nature of the Traveller, it's obvious that the light was essential to achieving all of the above, so while I agreed that we need to rely on our strength, I disliked the idea of turning our backs on the Traveller so quickly. Next I turned to New Monarchy. They seemed to have their priorities in order but it started to feel like they are only using the Traveller and the golden age as symbols to maintain a ruling caste. I found myself asking, what purpose do politicians serve in the greater scheme? So I decided against helping a cause designed to ensure a bygone system. I plain don't like the "With us or against us" mentality of the FWC. If we begin to meet new races and factions in the universe it could end very badly. So I figured the Speaker, while not a faction, seemed like the best bet. But something he said in his speech at the end of the game didn't sit right with me. "For too long we have cowered beneath a broken god" Somewhat interesting words for someone who is supposed to the voice of said "god" So until we learn more about this universe I will remain an agent of the Vanguards goals but without loyalty to any one faction. (Want a black shader though lol)
