3rd person when NOT implemented properly gives the player an ability to look around corners and down hallways and at chokepoints where the person who is ABOUT to enter a chokepoint, about to cross through a hallway, about to continue beyond a corner has ZERO warning of the player who can fully see them but cannot be seen [i]themselves[/i]. When you are about to enter a hallway, you STOP when you see a threat or multiple threats looking slightly beyond their cover. The system you're speaking of removes the ability that all standard combat scenarios are based on. [b][i]If they can see you, you can see them.[/i][/b] It's a law of physics, even when it's a crack in a wall the light not coming through it means you can see a player is behind it, therefore you [i]can[/i] see them, because they are looking though it and can see you. That's glitches aside. I understand how beneficial this play style can be. However in Destiny, it is one I'm against. It promotes corner hugging behind cover with an unfair advantage against ANY player in motion to obtain an objective. Seeing as how the function you are suggesting is one that effects an entire community, you should take the entire community into consideration though a poll. It effects the entire community. Even if it was an option in the settings menu, it still gives an advantage to one against ANY. And it's already being used poorly as an advantage by the dancing and sitting mechanics because you CAN maneuver your 3rd person camera to look above or around cover unfairly. So if this isn't just about you, and you care about the games community, please make this into a poll so Bungie can SEE the numbers, not have to read through every thread who wants this in the game. This is just factual feedback, based on what we know already exists with this feature, and is not a disagreement from disrespect. Thank you.
