You act like profit is a bad thing. Banks also give out loans and the like. Those are a necessity.

It is a bad thing. They suck all the wealth for the 1% and then, inevitably, get government bail outs every couple of decades. It's beyond a joke. And while loans are needed, profit (interest) on those loans is not. Making money from money ruins the economy because where do you think the money earned from that money comes from? They create it out of thin air balanced off no natural resource, such as gold. This is what causes inflation. The practise is called "Fiat Currecy" (Google it). Allow me to quote Jesus: "cast the money lenders from the temple".

People die all the time in America because healthcare isn't universal and free. Everyday, friend, everyday people are dying in America from things they didn't have to.

You mean like the VA and those fake waiting lists that killed 40 people? That's government for you. The private sector is where the focus should be. HSAs are the way to go in my opinion. Give control to the individual.

Types of medical treatment should not be gated behind different prices of insurance. If you are dying, you should get treated. And it shouldn't break you financially. Your tax dollars should cover it.

Right. YOUR money should cover it. Putting the government aside and keeping them from saying "you're too old" or "you're too sick" is the point. By using HSAs, the individual saves their own money and that money goes towards their bill. If the government takes your money, they use it on someone else or tell you that you aren't eligible for treatment.

Every one is "eligible". Your system is abused by profit making filth and millions who can't afford the obscene medical insurance costs go untreated.

Differences that you won't understand and that I won't. We live in separate nations with two separate political traditions. You can't make judgments on what you aren't subject to.

Of course, that's because they were working for the government and were paid no matter what. There was no incentive to do their job so they didn't do it. They made a fake waiting list and got paid for it. They don't have to worry about making a profit when the government pays your salary.
