The argument against this is that it would make PvP unfair, but the simple way of fixing that is this:
When in PvE, allow someone to wear and use as many exotics they have. If I have a Last Word, Invective, and a Gjallahorn, I want to use them ALL. If I have Aclyophage, Alpha Lupi, and Amakarakmahawhateveritscalled's Spine, I want to wear ALL of them at once.
But PvP would be a different story. If you try to enter the crucible with multiple exotics equipped, it should lock it off, saying something along the lines of [i]Requirements not met: too many exotics equipped[/i], where if you want to play, you'd have to swap all but an exotic weapon and armor piece for a legendary one in your inventory.

There should be a limited event or even a raid. It would be nice to be able to use this gear we find.

That's a good idea. We should be able to wear multiple exotics in Strikes, story missions, raids, ect.

Hell yeah that would be great and completey fair , so people don't get upset for online cause gear maters! Please bungie make it happen, it would help so much for the king raid!!

They already ready fixed this but not with the no more than one exotic Armour and gun but they did and it is called level disadvantages :)

I would only want the armor to have more than one since most of the gear perks don't contribute to making a player unbeatable. The weapons are fine at the one limit restriction.

Gear doesn't contribute to making a player unbeatable? Maybe not unbeatable but extremely hard to win on a 1v1. Think about it the Ram plus HoPF would be a fireborn lock with well over 150% armor status with the right perks. It would be complete crap to run up against someone with that setup no matter what legendary gear they were wearing with it.

I agree when in game against pve you should be able to wear a full set. I mean even of you are its just like wearing raid gear and will keep your lvl max to 32 anyways. Plus it would make alot of people happy. As for pvp I agree with the one exotic limit but that doesn't matter because those bonus perks and stats don't work there anyway. So please allow full exotic access!!

I hardly play the pvp myself, especially since they will have a bounty and you can't do anything to get it? What is up with that anyway. I've only been doing raids and bounties with my warlocks to level up my gear. But I'm sure if they allowed this then they could put a buffer in that would make all the armor the same???

I like this. They could also just ban exotics for PVP. People usually only just use Churos Regime.

Plus as soon as the new expansion comes i will have to gain all new gear through a hard way that makes your old armor a wast of time and effort. What they could do is instead or getting raid gear through raids is getting the exotics through raids so they will still have what they want and we will be able to go full exotic and let raid gear become vangeard gear/crudible gear. so everyone will be able to become max lvl.

I agree with pro7o hun7er. If Bungie would stop trying to make everything even across the board the game would be better. Every MMO I've ever played or seen played have always allowed players to make the character they want and equip the things they want to help them with whatever they're doing, so I would have gear specifically for PVP and gear specifically for PVE. You don't need to balance everything across the board. You want to balance stuff to make it fair in PVP then your stupid because PVP in MMO's isn't fair. Someone's always gonna have better gear or a loadout that beats yours. That's why you have to adapt to the situations your set up against. You want to make it somewhat fair then make two separate playlists or whatever. One for people that are stacked with amazing gear well say all raid or exotic gear and one for players to where they are limited to one exotic armor piece and one exotic weapon. Then in PVE allow as many exotics as you want. That allows for more customizing to make us that want a character that's different (which everybody does) happy. Stop nurffing weapons and armor because people say they're OP. If they're that OP then make some of the other stuff a bit stronger or just let them whine because I've gone against stuff that was OP and still came out on top. It's how you play not what you have, yes the thorn was ridiculously OP but it could be beaten if you played against it right. But now they nurffed it a bit and people that have it complain all the time. Bungie you seriously need to stop trying to make things fair or things even, its never gonna happen. PVP is and always will be for all games; unfair. PVP is like life, someone's always gonna be better at something than you are but your gonna be better at something they are. I could be better at sniping than someone else and someone could be better at close range. If they get up close I'm screwed, but if they're far enough away then they're screwed. Its not the weapons its the skills and tactics of the players playing the game so allow me and everyone else who grind and play the game to have as many exotics as we want. Oh and btw fix the upgrading exotics at least allow us to keep the progress on them instead of making us waste more time and materials to upgrade them again

I don't believe that wearing all exotics at once would be a problem. Everyone would have that ability, so they would all just have their own favorite combination in pvp or story. I think it would make pvp more interesting. maybe if bungie would make a type of multiplayer that would be by itself just for people with all exotics of more than one, then they would still have the regular crucible that you can only wear one at a time. You can't make everyone happy, but I think this is a good idea. My thought is that if you earn it, you should be able to use it. You shouldn't be burned out by saying "oh darn! I just got another exotic that I like, but since I can't wear it I will just break it down for spare parts... Oh well..."

No, in my opinion the players who sit here and grind the game all day to find all these exotics should be able to use them without penalty. For example, in world of warcraft, do they make the pvp armor weak just because some people are too lazy to grind pvp till they can buy them? No, because that is unfair to the people who actually put the time in to make their character good. The fact that you can only have one exotic is pretty sad, as it is just catering to those who cry because they dont want to farm these pieces of armor so they think that it is cheap. The only unfair thing about this game is that i wasted all this time finding all these special armor pieces only to be told i cant even use them all at once. Instead i am forced to either keep one on or sit there and level each piece so i can keep my light level the same with each piece. But bungie is to busy sucking players dicks and nerfing every little thing someone thinks is "overpowered", like the suros regime which is now trash (thanks bungie, a nice waste of strange coins)

And power to you bud. I completely agree. I have an Invective and would be pretty ticked off if the next patch made it do less damage to enemies just because some people complained about it in multiplayer. I'd also want a full load out of exotics. But to have those in crucible? To have enhanced trip mines, health regen on orb pick ups, AND 4 golden gun shots? You've got to admit that's a bit OP. And on the subject, why are there no exotic boots?

There's really an easy way to do this. On one had just disabled all benefits from armor on the other hand just open up a part of PvP where all items benefits are applicable

No, they aren't like that at all. Pvp everything is scaled, but you still have weapons effects/talents. Iron banner is still too Conservative. But should take everything into effect.
