After your lengthy talk with the Priest, the bar has completely settled and is safe to walk and loot. From the dead reptilian soldiers you get; 56 Gold Coins Reptilian Bow (chance to poison) Poison tipped Throwing Knives x20 Reptilian Shield (extra block percentage)
I know you killed 30+ but most of them didn't have anything of value other than gold
You walk up to the bar and loot the boss; 59 coins Armour of the Reptile (resistant to poison) Potion of Poison Potion of Resist Poison After looting everyone possible you head back towards Riverkreet, maybe there's a vendor or a travelling salesman to take some of this junk off your hand.
I put it up here to help scrolling, lol I'm on mobile and my notifications don't work sometimes so it helps with scrolling
-
thats fine by me, I'm having the same issues lol
Since most of my gear is weapons and armor, let's go to the blacksmith... Maybe he has something exotic?
-
You make your way back to Riverkreet and stop in at the blacksmith. He greets you, "Well hello there, friend. You are a very decorated warrior. I can tell you have seen some battle, what can I do for you? I can make anything you desire, for a price that is. I would be honoured if you would take my work to battle with you. If there is anything you need I can forge any and everything."
-
"Greetings, first off; I was wondering if you'd take these off my hands..." *offers silver shield, iron armor, and x6 normal throwing knives* "And I was wondering how proficient you are with crafting? You see... I'm no ordinary warrior..." *flashes flame sword, makes it ignite* "I was wondering if you had the ability to make anything that could further... Compliment... My abilities?"
-
"I can offer you 75 gold coins for that gear, it looks like it's in pretty good condition. As for that sword, that is awesome! I wish I could watch your enemies go up in flames! I do have this one augmentation I can do for you, it makes it permanently engulfed in flames, it also gives you immolation. Anyone that comes near you or the sword takes damage. However... I will need you to get me a fire crystal. Believe me this won't be an easy task... But you will have to venture to the High Hills and find a Baptist by then name of G'hork, he is a very stealthy, cunning humanite. He has a staff that has the fire crystal embedded in it. If you can bring me the staff, I will destroy the staff and salvage the crystal."
-
*accepts bartering* "I'll see what I can do." *leaves to go find Hasslo*
-
"Take care, friend. I look forward to your return, I can't wait to work on that sword of yours." You leave Riverkreet, head toward where Hasslo told you he would be. You come up over a hill and can see the place. There are bandits patrolling all over... This is not a farm... It's a small outlet of houses, 4 in total. There are groups of 2 patrolling each side.
-
Approach the side nearest to me, and chuck two throwing knives at the unsuspecting guards.
-
Edited by GramOfJolly: 10/27/2014 6:03:25 AMThe unexpected guards get the knifes in the back. The initial hit wasn't critical, but they both ended up being poisoned and by the time they turned around to spot your crouched body, they couldn't breathe anymore and died. You move a little closer to scout anything happening in the middle of the outlet. You see a gazebo, and Hasslo is in the middle with 2 other bandits.
Lol forgot, XP 200/300
-
I light one of the other houses on fire to get everyone attention, and hide until they come to check on it.
-
The house erupts in a glorious blaze. The 3 remaining patrols go to the house to investigate. The guards around Hasslo get up to check, he raises his hand as in to tell them not to go. The patrols are now at the fire trying to put it out.
-
I then simply flex my hand, and the house explodes; killing the surrounding guards.
-
The house explodes and sets the one beside ablaze. 3/6 bandits are killed. The other 3 run back to Hasslo for some guidance. Hasslo tells them to patrol the outskirts as a team. They start the patrol on the left side of you. 1 is an archer and the other two have shields and axes. XP 275/300
-
I leave my cover and chuck throwing knives at the patrol, enough so to hopefully kill the archer at least.
-
LEVEL UP 1 stat point XP 0/400 You threw knives at the patrol (-3 knives), the first 2 knives get embedded in to the shields, the final one shot straight at the archers neck, blood spurting everywhere, he falls over dead. The 2 bandits are now heading towards. 1 takes the lead with his shield in a defensive stance. The other takes the knife off his shield and throws it back at you, sticking you in the lower right leg.
-
I knock the blade out of my leg and cauterize the wound. I also channel some energy through my blade to make it able to pierce through steel... I ready myself for this fight.
-
Edited by GramOfJolly: 10/28/2014 12:27:50 AMAfter cauterizing the wound, you lose a bit of health nothing substantial but a bit. Your sword begins to glow and shines as it now has the ability to cut through steel. The guards close in, the leader of the two begins to rush faster. He attempts to run right through throwing you in the air. The second guard readies himself for an over head smash of his axe
-
Wait, I'm airborne?
-
not yet, the guard is "attempting" so he is pretty much in front of you still running full speed with his shield in front of him. The second guard is just readying himself for you to go airborne
-
Well screw him, I'll go airborne. I catapult myself off of the shield and cleave through the other guards weapon (and possibly him)
-
As the guard nears you, you leap onto his shield and spring forward towards the other guard, your mighty flame sword cleaves both him and his axe, leaving both in 2 pieces. You turn around to face the other guard who has stopped in his tracks and has turned around. He puts his shield in a defensive position and awaits your next move. XP 25/400
-
"Really, why don't you just run? You guys just never seem to learn." I approach the guard, and simply thrust my blade through his shield. Should he try to attack I'll simply raise my reptilian shield and deflect it.
-
As your weapon pierces his shield he let's go and goes for a strike. It is bounced off of your shield and he readies himself for another strike. "We were raised to fight! Nothing but fight, now meet your maker!"
oh how ironic this will be lolol
-
"I'll admit, that was good... But I don't play fair. Sorry." *stops heart*
-
Edited by GramOfJolly: 10/28/2014 2:39:49 AMThe guard clinches his heart and dies. If you wish to loot the two, well 3 pieces. These are available; 11 Gold Coins Throwing Knife x2 Silver Studded Axe (extra damage) Silver Shield You peak back around the corner and Hasslo and his 2 henchmen are still sitting at the picnic table in the gazebo.
