I thought that wall of text was your last post. Now you've spent the afternoon discussing a game you dislike. Why?

Post. Not my last reply. Learn to differentiate them, then again you might need to be an engineer for that. (sorry bad joke) lol.

Edited by Cellspot: 10/23/2014 11:31:18 PMSo replies aren't posts? Interesting logic. Might explain some things. Especially when you have to hit a large button that says "POST" to post your reply.

Posting a reply. Not a new thread. Hmm I guess it's almost the same. But not quite. Not sure on this one. I guess I can just B.S. my way out of this one by telling to to explain this to me and tell you that you will become legend if you do !

LOL nice. Just admit it, you can't put the damn game down or stop talking about it. :D

I actually haven't played Destiny since Tuesday before last. I logged on, on Friday to see what Xur had and once again was let down. So just logged out and haven't gone in since.

It's so funny to me the gamut of complaints on this forum. Many hate the existence of Xur at all, but others like yourself simply hate he's not selling the item you want. But who even cares about what Xur is selling if you aren't enjoying the gameplay?

Gameplay and content are two very different things in a game. I love destiny's gameplay now the content bothers me. I don't think you are understanding me here. If you wanna really chat about it just pm me.

Nah, you make a fair point here. I guess the next question would be how many hours have you played and how many games can provide that much entertainment while keep the content fresh as ever? 50 hours or more into most games and you've seen all there is to see multiple times over.

Edited by Mpower3S54: 10/24/2014 12:34:42 AMYou got me there. You're right I've spent more time playing this game than I would Metal Gear and that's a story line I love with my life. The problem is what I, along with many expected from this game, and what was delivered. In the end it's a shame because we could all be playing what should be the best shooter ever made but instead we just got about a third of it. It really sucks for all of us, you, me, and the next guy around the corner. Because none of this is good for gaming. It's not good for our community, and the reason we flame each other is because we care.

At some point we have to get over the fact that despite the game perhaps didn't meet our lofty expectations, it's still pretty enjoyable to play and will most likely only improve with time. I was really hoping for a truly open world, Fallout-esque FPS too, but what I got still keeps me coming back for more. We might as well enjoy what is there and not let what could have been ruin the experience. I certainly don't feel ripped off and can understand with the wide breadth of content Destiny provides, there has to be some sacrifices, such as an immersive story driven campaign. Sure, Borderlands had a decently fleshed out story, but what kept me going back was the loot, not the story. I didn't replay missions for the cutscenes. Same goes for Destiny.

Love it when we can talk in harmony. I see your point, and trust me i will continue to enjoy what I have of the game, mostly pvp and the raid on Tuesday, but aside from that i guess ill have to play something else. I really hope it improves over time. If i could hug you, i would. ;)
