C'mon old guys and gals. Don't leave me hanging here. Let's show these young'ns who's boss.
Remind them there was a time where you had to STAND to play video games.
42 and I have stood in front of arcade cabinets for hours playing Space Invaders, Pac Mac, Donkey Kong, Dig Dug...if it was there I put a quarter in it.

I'm 18 and I played arcade games, age doesn't matter, culture does. Street Fighter, Space Invaders and Pacman for me.
-
I remember playing some of these when I was a kid in the Laundromat. I loved that Laundromat, they had tons of games AND they served hot dogs, nachos, drinks, etc...
-
As a 22 year old I feel like I really missed out on that experience. Galaga is easily in my top 5 favorite games. I go 20 miles out of my way to frequent a bar that has an old galaga machine in the back. Got the 4 highest scores. And pole position is the game that got me hooked on racing games for life
-
You can stand and play Destiny too lol
-
36 and been around since calico vision
-
32, and I quite enjoy my games. And the local arcade. Ahhh, Gauntlet Dark Legacy.
-
35 here. Been playing since NES was released.
-
Nothing like the good old days, 45 here : ) If I could convince my clan to jump on here and vote that bottom bracket of the pole would dramatically increase.
-
It was street fighter 2 for me but I'm slightly younger at 34
-
*places quarter on machine I'm next!
-
Yeah, me too. If i had all the quarters back, i could finance Destiny 2.
-
I am also 41. I also played a lot of video games like the vic 20 an others I don't want to mention lol. props to the old folks playing
-
Up up, down down, left right, left right B A, B A, select, start.
-
"If it was there I put a quater in it" +1
-
54 with 5 grandkids. I used to rock an Asteroids machine back in the day, could turn it over. Now I'm slow, dang it.
-
Praise to the vet man you rock
-
54 here too!
-
oh my god salute mister
-
47, used to play sinister, pac man pinball, ten yard fight, gauntlet, and moon patrol.
-
Spyhunter, Gauntlet, Space Ace, Dragons Lair, Altered Beast, BurgerTime.....those ate a lot of my quarters.
-
(38) Double Dragon and Beer Tapper. The two I played most at the arcade in the mall. Damn brings me back getting tokens for quarters.
-
Still love contra...anyone else remember yar's revenge?
-
I remember when Galaga was new and kinda replaced Galaxian. Ikari Warriors was one of my favorites. Do you remember a cabinet game called Tailgunner? It had graphics similar to Tempest. Speaking of Tempest, THAT was hard core. I'm 43 by the way.
-
I played all of those but my go to was always Street Fighter.
-
Not enough room to list all the games. There was one game you could sit and play. Pole Position. IF your local arcade had room for sit down, cockpit cabinet.
