Because it's the only super that is precise. It is badly underpowered in pve compared to the other preferred sub classes for pve. Titans get a bubble. Warlocks can revive. I have a suicidal super or one that does less damage than a sniper. Giving the gg crit damage would not affect pvp and would make at least one of the hunter sub classes useful in pve.
-
Have you not read Bungies weekly updates? Game Balance seems to be their mantra. If they make Golden Gun Crit then everyone else gets a crit.
-
The other classes get splash damage hunter doesn't
-
Uh yes. The huge explosion when you kill an enemy with the Golden Gun?
-
The other classes have a sub class that is useful for pve. Hunters do not. That is why the gg needs crit. It fits the character. Foh and nova do splash damage and dot, that's why they don't need crit.
-
Have you not seen a Bladedancer rip through a wave of hive? Also Golden Gun has an ability that makes enemies explode and deal damage in a large area around them.
-
I'm talking about end game pve. All the supers are amazing earlier in the game.
-
No others class has a description that says they live for the perfect shot
-
lol...since when has a description of a character ever affected game mechanics?
-
It's a description it should give you a brief idea of what is to come as you level up your character, the only precision thing I know that the hunter has is throwing knife and that is not shooting
-
Its a description, not a game mechanic. I mean its how you play the character not how the game describes the character. If you play a hunter and choose to not get precision shots then have you broken the game? No. Would it be fair if every shot a hunter took was a precision shot because their description says they "live " for it? No.
