How can anyone justify Shoulder Charge?
Why was this even put into the game? An instant kill charge that tracks your target? And it hasn't been patched? What the hell. And no cooldown to boot?
A hunter knife takes aim, has a long animation, and doesn't even one-shot the target; but a Striker gets an instant kill blink for sprinting that's only cooldown is the second it takes to begin sprinting again? Fun stuff.
EDIT: For those that don't understand how easy it is to use and how effective it is, says it doesn't auto track, jump to avoid, and so forth:

How can anyone defend this? I don't know, but several hundred idiots are. This video isn't even in optimal conditions (corridors found in every map in Rumble).

It does have a cooldown. You must wait then start sprinting again for a few seconds then reactivate it again.

5 RepliesAs a person that uses all 3 classes, mainly a Titan, shoulder charges are the least of the OP-ness of the 3 classes. Charges are easy to counter from what I experienced. Don't let us get close and keep your distance or pull out your trusty shotgun to kill us. We don't have shields like Blade Dancers have when they super to protect us. Or warlock shields from their melee ability.

3 RepliesEvery good player who actually understands what a competitive shooter is knows that the Titan is the easiest class in pvp and it has most of the cheapest perks. Grenades are way more powerful than any other class, shoulder charge, armor AND agility maxed. Don't sweat it. Just keep embarrassing them with something underpowered. Majority of kids in crucible are terrible anyway.

The real reason people hate it (whether or not get admit it) is they feel cheated of a kill. Even though that titan could have just as easily killed you with a shotgun or a fusion rifle, it's because he's using an ability you don't have to get the kill and it seems unfair.

I never ever effn ever! Get killed by charge unless im not paying attention. If i see a titan running at me, it means one of two things Charge or super! Aka jump the fuk outta the way and proceed to whip their candy asses!

Why are you even griping about this? It's pretty hard to land a shoulder charge in PvP with everybody running around. You're a sitting duck when you go for a shoulder charge

17 RepliesYou... A lv 28 hunter. Are stating sumthing you know nothing about. S charge does not "track", its only able to be used a few seconds after to start sprinting and then is only able to be engaged withing a few seconds of that. All it does is charge in what ever direction you are facing. Trick if you are hovering ATM you engage it you can change directions or even reverse charge(takes a lot of skill to do hover charge kills). I don't know why you think it tracks. You still have to sacrifice yourself and run at your target with out shooting which is risky in PvP. You mentioned your knives requiring skill.. I can say they don't take much by just playing with friends. Charge don't take much unless your kill ppl around corners or that are chasing you. Them take high lvs of skill and practice to do on a whim. How's golden gun BTW..... 3 to 4 instant kills no matter the range... If they nerf my charge then would only be fair to nerf that ass well. I believe all classes are decently balanced ATM. We all have something for every skill lv of player.

3 RepliesIn the Titan's defense, their empty but surprisingly rock solid heads would probably kill you from the collision anyway. I finally decided to test out shoulder charge. I played an entire match mostly shoulder charging. I got a couple rocket kills, and I ended up with 18 kills by the end of the game. I almost had a negative k/d ratio, but keep in mind that the only way I fought was with shoulder charge and rocket kills. There is definitely no skill involved in using shoulder charge or, for that matter, fist of panic.

I want u to see my face when I kill u. No ones abilities or guns need nerfs or anything of the sort. The game is awesome the way it is just figure out what your best at and work at it. And if u still wanna cry then just friend me and I'll punch it out of u.

If you see a Titan running at you, you've got 3 options: -shotgun usually/always works -(warlock) scorch first -jump & nade him. I think it's more silly that a warlock will beat a Titan in a punching match, even if Titan gets first punch. A hunter can so the same as the warlock shoot+punch strat, except at a further range with throwing knife; a better player can get nonstop ez kills that way.

2 RepliesI don't have a titan, but I do know that when you sprint with any class it restricts your ability to turn as easily. So why not just jump left or right out of their way? Their peripherals are all covered up with that blue shit anyways. Just be like a matador stepping out of the way of a charging bull.
