Where are the SHADERS!!!
[b]When the beta had launched for this game all vendors[/b] within the tower, more specifically the faction vendors,[b] had an alloted amount of [/b]faction [b]shaders along with the rest of their inventory[/b]... [b]On top of that "Eva Levonte"[/b] (A.K.A. Woman who torments me with "refreshed" stock of the same dagum stock as last week)[b] Had an inventory that would constantly update and had a variety of shaders to purchase[/b]...
[b]Now [/b]the game being out for over a month and[b] a majority of players are wearing the[i] EXACT[/i] same shaders because nothing is available to us[/b]... [b]the game was supposed to be make yourself legend, [i]Not [/i]homogenize every character until they all look the exact same...

[b]I understand some loot and the necessity for keeping it RNG based but [i]SHADERS!!![/i][/b]...[b]Shaders are expressions of our personal taste and preference[/b]...there isn't some majical OP shader that needs a nerf nor buff...its a SHADER...and [b]people should be able to dye their armor to their liking[/b]...
[b]Shaders shouldnt be treated like an exotic item [/b]([i]unless they have truly exotic traits such as "Tron" lighted armor, or hive shaded armor with glowing green visor tints, in which case these could be harder to ascertain but should still be ATTAINABLE[/i])[b] and shouldnt be left to RNG[/b] [b]or the [/b]forsaken [b]Cryptarch to hand out[/b] in one of his oh so gracious "care packages" [b]for leveling him up[/b]...
If anyone else is sincerely dissapointed or simply fed up and would like access to more shaders [b]please sign/post here[/b]...

I feel shaders should be rewards just like how Chatterwhite is only obtainable through beating the raid. Since we don't have Titles that express the feats we have completed it should be shaders instead. I also feel that they should be 100% drop rate from completing the raid / Strike / whatever you're doing. That way when you walk around looking all sexy and badass people can notice what you have achieved just like Chatterwhite.

Blue, Orange, Yellow, White are the main shader colors. Why didn't they just let us make custom shaders? But yeah, there was meant to be tonnes more shaders. My real question is, when are we going to get some kind of content update? One that is free, and given to all players.

I'm so tired of walking around the tower being all like: "look at my purple coat, it's so cool" then 8 other warlocks walk by with the same shader on...More shaders, or even better, the ability to make custom ones...Because, nothing is worse than getting a new shader and having it be a stupid mix of colors...like yellow and lime green. Like I want to be the guardian the represents Sprite in the endless struggle of good against evil.

1 ReplyThe thing that pisses me off is that there is no solid green color. We've got God of War for red, Double Banshee for blue, Chatterwhite for white, Superblack for black, and so on. There's no solid green, or solid yellow, or pretty much any other solid color.

Yeah, I agree. I think the vendor should rotate the stock. I get certain ones should not be sold, but earned (chatter white, super black) but others should be sold. Btw, where do u get super black?

Yes, I agree.. At least the basic crappy shaders should be sold, the most sought after colours like blacks, golds and silvers be rare drops or rewards.

^bump. I could not agree more with all of the points you raised. There should be a wide variety of shaders available for purchase in addition to the ability to create your own shaders and share them. If you're in a clan, especially the option to have a clan shader that everyone in your clan can wear during raids, crucible, etc., that would be even better. These are aesthetic things that should be in the control of the players, aside from the exotic shaders that create a special effect or look. Thanks for the post Kurasaki

Agreed 1000% Before Destiny came out there was all the talk of how every one could customize their own guardians. What do we really customize? We spend a little time creating a guardian, to only see his face in the tower (Thats awesome... NO) Why can we not choose the color of each piece of armor? Why can we not use shaders on WEAPONS??? and the lady with the shaders... what a waste. Will she ever have anything new? As a matter of fact all of the vendors are a joke. The crap they sell has no use after playing through one level. Well, I take that back, we buy to dismantle. The whole tower experience is one of the worst parts of this game. I hate even going there. It is like a trip across the universe.... literally! zzZZzzzZZZzzz

Agreed. At the very least the vendor should renew instead of having the same 4 shaders as nearly 2 months ago. Especially when most people don't like those particular colour schemes given that you hardly see anyone using them.
