Am I the only one pronouncing it like "Kahber" and not "Kabar"?

I'm kind of dickish in that way. For whatever reason, I can't stand people mispronouncing words. I usually have to work hard to keep that in check so I don't offend people.

I think the attitude of the person you're correcting is a big factor. If I was mispronouncing something, I'd want to be told as soon as possible, and I know others that are the same way. So I think if you get the feeling that the other person is receptive to that, go for it.

Yeah, I agree. I just try not to offend people for no reason. It's particularly easy to do on the internet.

Yeah. It's a peeve of mine as well. Lol. It does take work to maintain that, so as to not come off as being rude.
