I can't quit laughing at the scrubbies complaining about the random teleport. If you're not able to carry out each role within the raid, you should not step into the VOG. People complain about the RNG system because they "are not getting gear to drop". I think the system is great. It prevents everyone to be handed level 30. I agree some people have put hard work and time into this game and not recieved the rewards they desired, but keep going it will drop sooner or later. I usually run the relic ( usually because people don't like to, they'd rather sit outside and shoot a couple of flying triangles ),, and although I enjoy "my part of the VOG" it's going to be nice that the raid won't depend on the same 3 individuals. You would actually have to work as a team of 6, rather than 3, and 3 robots. I mean come on, how hard is it to stand on a pillar, open a portal and kill supplicants, let's be real people. It's quite amusing when I join raids and ask who's coming into the portal and either no ones talks, and says "well I'm not very good in the portal", or " I'd just rather be outside I'm more comfortable there ". Not trying to sound cocky, but I can run every spot required to complete the VOG flawlessly and you know why? I didn't sit back with a beer in my hand while others did the work. I got my ass into the raid and switched up my spots, so if I had to join a random raid I could cover any role needed. Attitudes change quick when someone removes you from your comfort zone hub? Did everyone forget, this isn't a MMO, we don't have tanks, dps and healers, everyone has the means to play every position requires to complete a raid. Quit complaining like a bunch of babies and expecting gear to be easily handed out. Quit crying because you think the raid might be to hard to complete. It's individuals that want a raid to be easy that ruins the raid experience.

It is funny. I actually like going into the portal. Mostly cause I hate harpies. But it also makes you feel like your contributing. I've used the relic but if some one is more comfortable with it and they way to use it then I'm fine with that. The more veteran VoG players will just have to be patient with people new to the VoG. We are all playing for fun anyway right?

It's funny, the exact people I figured we're going to comment on my post did. Let me make things clear, I've ran the raid multiple times with people I had no idea who they were just because they invited me in the tower after seeing I was level 30. Gladly I joined to give back to the community because I had all the gear I could want thus far. Many times have I explained hours after hours to these news groups how to do the raid, how to complete the raid and ultimately the strategies I use. But, these individuals that I have mostly ran the raid with have the ambition to learn and since they never stepped foot in the VOG except maybe 1-2 times, was willing to take in any role I applied to them. So once again my point still stands. Quit crying about the random teleportation, if I can gather a group of randoms who've never done VOG and walk them through normal and hard most switching roles up every time, ANYone can learn to do the same. This new update will not eliminate new players from running VOG nor will it ruin the experience for everyone else. Quit complaining because you're to lazy to learn new strategies, and put in the time needed to raid. If you can only play for 1-2-3 hours a day, that's not bungies or anyone else's fault. Bungie shouldn't revamp their game to appease because YOU can't play as much as other people. Thus being said, if anyone still needs VOG add me on psn and I will gladly teach you and help groups through like I've always done.

I read the first two sentences & I stopped reading the comment. I read the replies though!!! & Yes, You are a -blam!-ing idiot! In order to become an experienced player, You need to play the god damn raid. This fix is making it so everyone needs to know what to do on every part of the raid... which is a good thing but I can bet my damn life not everyone will spend 11 hrs on this raid like the first group! They will get mad and rage quit and destiny will slowly die. If they added an easy weapon swap on the d pad (hold Up for secondary primary, Left for Special & Down for heavy) this part of the patch would be more plausible. I am down for whatever the game throws at me... usually I just go with it. Bungie is better than most of the stuff they patch & I believe in them that they will eventually have a well polished finished product! This is their first fps mmo & hopefully they are taking all of the negative community players feedback tp heart and learn from their mistakes.

I highly agree with u. I do what I can to help casual players. Without the casuals the game will die. About 90% are people that play about 5 hours a week on destiny. Make it so they can't play = game death. Stupid on bungie to do this.

Exactly the casual player that plays really only plays so many hours a week. I may play a lot, but I can only hope that the majority of video gamers don't play as much lol... unless video gaming is what they do to make money! I thoroughly enjoy playing VOG with new comers & watch then learn how to do it. I don't get mad and cuss... I just say no worries eventually you will get it. I understand for some of the high strung players with a time crunch, but that's what this app and the other raid player finding extras are there for. That's when it is all abput the specific player being honest about being experienced or not.
