All I hear is Nathan Fillion's voice when I read that story...and it is glorious.

Okay see thank god I'm not the only one that keeps hearing that Captain Mal tone in his voice every time he greets my ass when I run down there or throws the info out on the Archon Priest strike

If the Grimoire was put in the game and parts of it voiced like Mass Effect's codex, they'd better pick him to do it!!

I'd have been happy with just a soundbite of this story, let alone an actual cutscene. But presentation shortcomings aside, Cayde is easily the coolest Vanguard. I'm pretty sure Zavala and Ikora have their own stories to tell as well, but Cayde's just...well...cool. He's not regimented like the other two are, he's more of cowboy than a soldier.
