No RNG. Bungie should take the time to make certain things in certain places give you certain guns. Example: beating the raid without dying/on hard would be the only way to ear the mythoclast, the last word and the zombie apocalypse.

There's no RNG for zombie apocalypse... It's a dead orbit gun.

It's a Crucible* gun and I've actually gotten a void version from RNG

You need crucible marks to buy it from dead orbit. I got mine through RNG (I actually had more luck with engrams pre-patch) though but I did get my dead orbit rank 2.
