5 years on bungie.net

In the past 5 years I've seen a lot of changes within the community here. People have come and gone, games have been released and (not quite) forgotten, and multi billion dollar franchises have been handed over, bringing us that much closer to world domination. The biggest change I've seen in my tenure, has been darkness, and the eventual light we are now experiencing. The website has exploded, and now we aren't united under a single console, but we are united by a passion for destiny, and a certain fondness for the company that makes it. We aren't that different, after all. Thanks for the past 5 years, community. Plenty more to come.

  • But brah. Destiny is lacking in content and bungie is no longer transparent loving vengeful ninja overlords. Just guys in suits and Devs with Cheetos. I'm only around cause I used to love reading the forums and lurking. Now I just surf the forum for people who are just as disheartened as I am by the change in bungie.
