Hard to say, it probably falls more into the exploit category than full on cheating. While it cheapens the encounter, at the end of the day it doesn't matter. If Bungie doesn't want players to do this it will get patched, in the mean time its an easy win for players to get Raid Gear. If its working as intended it'll stay as is. Honestly its more bad pathing and a lack of a barrier to prevent this than anything. Its on Bungie for not thinking of such a simple tactic to defeat an enemy, their players just happen to be quite clever at finding all their weak spots.

Who really cares? If you don't want to play them that way don't, some people like to play that way, so let them. It's not like every time someone plays this way a baby dies or something. Just leave them be, them doing it has no negative impact on you, but if they enjoy doing it and you get it taken away, it negatively impacts them. So again, just leave them be.

10 RepliesSniping oracles isnt a glitch. You are still playing within the rules of the section (which is to shoot all the oracles), this is just a smart way to do it. Sitting up top while relic guy shoots Templar isn't a glitch either, you still still have to kill oracles, you still have to fight the Templar. Now, pushing the Templar off the map with solar or vortex nades is cheating, but these two videos showing these easy ways to fight the boss are, well just that. Easy strategies that fit right within the rules of the fight.

3 RepliesOracle one isn't a glitch lol, you're ontop of the pillar to snipe them from afar. but pushing off the templar is the same as pushing off atheon...it's a exploit that's being abused.

2 RepliesOk one guy going down is not a glitch lol. Pushing templar (yes templar, there is a new push templar method) off IS a glitch because you can throw grenades at him even if he has his shield up. Put that vid up instead if you wanna advertise a glitch.

But the amount of crying from those against it, is starting to make me not feel pity for them. PVE players who others achievement doesn't effect your own. seems petty. I beat 3 out of 4 the legit way. Forth our leader (who is a warlock) was in a rush and just ended it. lol It's not like it's pvp where what you do effects everyone else. I don't know we gotta have to find a new name for these people. SJW or boy scouts of destiny. lol

8 RepliesHow do you consider this a glitch? These are videos of smart and effective players who found an easier way to accomplish something. If bungie patches this it won't be because it's a glitch, it's because bungie did not want you to fight the Templar this way. And with that said, what did these players do to you that you felt the need to get on your high horse and ask bungie to put a stop to it? So what if people push Templar and Atheon off the map? You can only do it once per character a week which means they have the same odds of receiving raid loot as you do. Sure they might finish it all on the same day due to their technique but RNG will still either bless or curse them correct? So please explain why you feel the need to force people into playing their games the way YOU want them to.
