I'm really glad a lot of people are exposing this solution to the community and hopefully, Bungie. As a PVP player, I think the nerfs are perfectly reasonable, and balance the competition well. While in PVE, these balances ruin the fun of grinding for hours to get an Exotic that's supposed to be amazing and unique, but where nerfed to the point of them being less powerful than more common guns. Bungie has to keep in mind, that OP weapons are fun in PVE, but not so much in PVP. This seperation of nerfs and perks should be applied in the game.
