Petition: PvE & PvP changes should be separate - Was patch effect on PvE good? - Devs Please Read!

[b]Please continue to vote on this.[/b] This needs to stay relevant so Bungie is always aware of what the PvE community wants! As more patches/events are released, I shall release a thread pretaining to each. Saying what I agree with, what I don't & what I think should be changed. These threads will probably be polls (similar to this one).

Please keep in mind this is not only about this hot-fix but about ALL later ones as well!
As this has gotten so huge (the percentiles won't change too much at this point), I request that you comment your choice in addition to selecting an option. 1 = yes, 2 = no, 3 = community poll. Just so its easier to see what the community wants. Cheers all!

What will take to receive an offical reply from Bungie on this subject? This thread alone has over 750 comments and over 3000 votes. What more can they ask for? Honestly, the community has spoken. Here. On this thread. Your move, Bungie. If you don't act, you risk losing a large percentile of your fan base. You risk losing those that planned to play your game for years. Sorry to say this however the PvP side is just along until the next Battlefield or CoD comes around. Then what? You'll be left with (majorly) a pissed PvE community primarily because you didn't listen to us. Apparently to Bungie (this is evident because of the most recent patch/hot-fix), the PvP community has a larger say in what happens in Destiny. We (the PvE community) should be treated fairly and have equal say in Destiny.

The countless PMs between Talons & I debating what our next move should be. Bouncing ideas, not-so-patiently awaiting a reply from someone from Bungie, awaiting feedback, changed what we thought needed to be changed, the list is honestly endless. He's had as much involment in this threads development as I did.

1 ReplyThey should be separate! This is total crap.. It's like a game like CoD releasing a patch to nerf a campaign weapon because it's OP in multi-player.. I'm not sure, but does anyone else know if anything like this has happened in the past???

As a long time gamer of mmo these patches dont bug me. I have learnt not to fall in love with one game style. If they where to do the seperate changes then pvp needs to be restricted to pvp and pve to pve. It would be two completely different games basicly.

What are the requirements for a post to be officially acknowledged in some way? Is hundreds of replies in a few hours and a poll with over 1500 votes with 80-90% pretty much all leaning in one direction not enough?

2 RepliesIf several weapons are wrecking in pvp but not in pve or the opposite why punish the side that it works as intended. My opinion is that instead of nerfing how bout buff the amount of damage we can take instead.

2 RepliesIn some of the MMO's I have played you had to remove your PVE weapons and gear and don your PvP gear to change from one mode of play to the other. The devs were able to keep a seperate balance between the two and the players enjoyed collecting both type of combat sets. Seems to me this would solve both issues and would be easy to impliment rather than attempting to fix one side without upsetting the other.

4 RepliesI don't think changes should be separate at all. Being a badass should carry into all aspects of the game. They should probably get a better matchmaking system that evaluates what gear everyone is using so op weapons go against op weapons.

I say there's not even a point to play the game if the best gun you can get is as crappy as all the other guns. I was going to buy the dlc but with all these nerfs I'm glad I didn't. Thank you Bungie for ruining what little faith I still had in you.

When COD comes out all the people who complain won't be around, but is PVE'er will be. And we won't stay if PvP continues to ruin our game play. These are facts. Separate not equal. That's the way when it come to Destiny!
