[b]Please continue to vote on this.[/b] This needs to stay relevant so Bungie is always aware of what the PvE community wants! As more patches/events are released, I shall release a thread pretaining to each. Saying what I agree with, what I don't & what I think should be changed. These threads will probably be polls (similar to this one).

Meaning that the changes in PvP won't affect PvE and vise versa.

"[Voting #2 means that] This current patch should be reconsidered and redone with consideration to making many if not most of the changes affect PVP only and not change them in PVE". Not only that but what is actually stated in #2.
Please keep in mind this is not only about this hot-fix but about ALL later ones as well!
As this has gotten so huge (the percentiles won't change too much at this point), I request that you comment your choice in addition to selecting an option. 1 = yes, 2 = no, 3 = community poll. Just so its easier to see what the community wants. Cheers all!

What will take to receive an offical reply from Bungie on this subject? This thread alone has over 750 comments and over 3000 votes. What more can they ask for? Honestly, the community has spoken. Here. On this thread. Your move, Bungie. If you don't act, you risk losing a large percentile of your fan base. You risk losing those that planned to play your game for years. Sorry to say this however the PvP side is just along until the next Battlefield or CoD comes around. Then what? You'll be left with (majorly) a pissed PvE community primarily because you didn't listen to us. Apparently to Bungie (this is evident because of the most recent patch/hot-fix), the PvP community has a larger say in what happens in Destiny. We (the PvE community) should be treated fairly and have equal say in Destiny.

The countless PMs between Talons & I debating what our next move should be. Bouncing ideas, not-so-patiently awaiting a reply from someone from Bungie, awaiting feedback, changed what we thought needed to be changed, the list is honestly endless. He's had as much involment in this threads development as I did.

1 ReplyThey could just normalize the damage across all weapons in pvp like they said they would..., and then leave the pve aspect of the weapons untouched. ..? No? Too crazy of an idea? ..okay.

But if the way my shotgun perks work are getting changed because of a game mode I don't enjoy too much already, I will be forced to use the snipers and FR's. The problem with Bungie is that I haven't seen them offer to do VoG runs with people, or find and hang with us on Strikes/Weekly etc. The only events they have done are the PvP 'we challenge you scrubs in the crucible'. So for a game that they tout as a community game, they only play PvP with people. Just my observaiton. Edit: Engrish is good.

Exactly my monte carlo does less damage than an old Thompson from 1942 and is less accurate I might as well be using a nerf gun (pun intended) when my dmg output on vex hivemind goes from 240 to 160 and has the accuracy of a drunken sailor. Pvp nerfs should never penalize pve players for "issues" in a Pvp environment.

2 RepliesNo the community should not poll for hotfixes. The whining community is what is causing the problems. Delete the forums altogether and just play the game. The developers play the game also they can see what needs to be fixed. There is a reason they are the developers and you are not.

Bungie should have never made an "MMO" This destiny franchise was better in hands of companies that actually do MMO's and know what the -blam!- they are doing - This game is becoming embarrassing I cant believe that a bunch of people crying on a forum actually got bungie to make the best weapon in the game an -blam!-ing average one what a joke of a company that cant even separate PVE and PVP - Now I see that buying the two DLC's was premature - Hopefully GTA V and Borderlands will make me forget all about this game and what those idiots have done to it

Balancing of the weapons should be in PvP only where balance is needed. Who cares how much weapons are doing in raids. That's kind of the point.

1 ReplyThis is awesome. I like two options though. I like both the separation and the poll system for the hotfixes/patches. Not to say that the community votes directly on the matters but have a poll so that Bungie can see what the community thinks.

3 RepliesHonestly, I hope Bungie sees this. THIS is the community that will play Destiny for years to come. I love this game & have done everything it has to offer. I don't mind the grind for gear (only need the helmet now! :D). What pisses me off is when the PvP players bitch & moan until the HARDEST gun to get in the game gets a massive nerf. Its supposed to be OP.

They should be separate damage modifiers for PVP and PVE. There is no reason to have them both equal. I so tiered on console games letting PVP dictate the effectiveness of PVE content by there constant qq's. If this continues, I think I may head back to other mmo's.

3 RepliesThank you for bringing voice to the community. Bungie should talk to Blizzard now they are a part of the Activision world. Blizzard understood that raiders will be the people that play your game for 5+ years and heavily vested in those players for the better. What bungie is doing to the PvE community is basically giving them no incentive to play at all, they have essentially nerfd destiny into halo. When is the needler going to patched in?
