Why BRINK did something better than DESTINY

First, let me say, I LOVE DESTINY, I really do. However, something troubles me, and seems as though it wasn't fully realized : The classes. Think of this, for those who ever played the disappointment that was BRINK, you had three "Classes" (technically, four actual classes, as what I mean here is actually the body type. You'll understand why soon) there as well. What was the difference between the three, and how are those three comparable to DESTINY's trio? First, a look at the trio of DESTINY, and their current descriptions. (pulled from the IGN wiki)
TITAN : Titans built the Wall, and gave their lives to defend it. Now, you stand in the same high place, steadfast and sure, protecting all who shelter in your shadow. You hail from a long line of heroes, forged from strength and sacrifice. Our enemies may be deadly and merciless, but so are you. You're a tank of a soldier who can wield any weapon, but also protect any friend. HUNTER: Hunters once prowled the wilderness and wastelands, taking big risks for even bigger rewards. You're no outlaw—at least, not anymore—but making your own luck has always meant bending the rules. Your unique brand of daring and ingenuity is needed now more than ever. While they may seem to only be long range experts, the Hunter excels in silent close combat kills with their dagger. WARLOCK: Warlocks have long studied the Traveler, mastering some of its arcane energies. Its true purpose still remains a great mystery, but discovering truth has always driven you into the unknown. Now, our enemies are the only thing that stands between you and the lost wonders of our Golden Age. Any foes attempting to stand in your way will prove no match for your powerful magic attacks.
Now, for each class, I myself at least am given an image from each description. Titans, walking walls capable of mayhaps not much movement, but incredible defense. Hunters, little to no armor, but small frames making them exceedingly quick, agile, and stealthy. Warlocks, scholars who protect themselves with padded robes for their journeys, who can still move a decent pace compared to someone encumbered with plate armor (Titans) Have you caught on to my point yet? If not, then, let me describe BRINK's BODY types, with data pulled from the BRINK Wiki.
HEAVY: Slow moving, but able to take plenty of punishment. Health: High (180) Speed/Agility: Low (Run 120, Sprint 200) LIGHT: Speedy, maneuvering effortlessly through combat and over battlefields. Health: Low (120) Speed / Agility: High (Run 170, Sprint 270) MEDIUM : All around class, still faster than HEAVY types, while being able to take more damage than LIGHT. Health: Moderate (140) Speed/Agility: Moderate (Run 150, Sprint 230)
Now, is it clear? We have, TITANS (HEAVY), HUNTERS(LIGHT) and WARLOCK (MEDIUM), yet, there's really no discerning attribute when it comes to health and movement. I can still run right along side a HUNTER class, and a magnum to my chest plate will still tear just as easily through his vest. It's not difficult to figure out why this is confusing and lore breaking, and sure, you can argue balancing of PVP, but, honestly, PVP comes down to whether you have a shotgun (FUSION RIFLES COUNT AS SHOTGUNS TOO) or not anyways, so, it's of no consequence. But in PVE? A scout (HUNTER) should be able to outpace a tank (TITAN) easily to get better vantage, while the tank takes in bullets and distracts enemies, while the wizard (You know who this is) does damage himself. Simply, I feel our classes should hold more affect upon our movement and armor. There's plenty that DESTINY could do to bring us more into the game, but, this is just one small consideration. TL,DNR : Titans should be able to be shot more, Hunters should be able to outrun any class, and Warlocks should....be warlock-y, as an in between of armor and speed.
