But this idea could effect people who have to quit for a geniune reason like a knock at the door or the phone rings. I know people will just say you can ignore them but I've had to quit a lot of games in PvP and PvE as I often need to help my wheelchair bound girlfriend out with a lot and if there was a 30 min lockout I'm being punished as rage quitter through no fault of my own. I've never played a FPS that had any real incentives to punishments to stop rage quitting.

Why should I play to lose? If I get stuck on a shit team and wont be getting rewarded, why should I stay? Crucible sucks enough, let alone without a reward. Give rewards to all of us and then less will quit. Dont blame the gamers because the devs are too -blam!-ing retarded to make something worthwhile.

Lol, that would be harsh bro... especially since these dumb servers always kicking ppl out..... i agree with the implementation of some kind of penalty, but there would have to be a way to ensure that your leaving was intentional or something

You could add something to the extent of when the player requests to go to orbit. However you would see people just kill their game off going link-dead in the map. People will abuse things for a short cut anytime they get. What they should do is give a bonus that would grow the more matches you full complete and if you have a fair amount of disconnects or leaves that bonus would reset.
