You sir are a selfish, bitch of a gamer. I had two matches in a row where my entire team left me after going down by only 2000 points at the start. I stayed and ended up getting a better score than most of the enemy team. Ya it sucks, but I refuse to be one of those little bitches that make me so mad when they leave. It's a principle thing for me. If I'm gonna prove myself in the crucible, I'm not gonna do it by hoping to go up against shitty players.

Stop trying to prove how good you are to everyone for one second here. Obviously people leaving the game is an issue. Nobody cares how you handle it when it happens cool dude.

Your avatar says it all. You are the same type of idiot the Bungie crew is. You have no idea why this game is broken.
-
Sorry but I refuse to finish matches that are brutal at best. If half my team quits, why shouldn't I? No rep, maxed on marks, dont need the 1001th hadronic essence or weapon part, and spree bounties are next to impossible 3v6, when the other team is feeding on supers and orbs off supers.
-
You're gross. You're part of the problem. Lead by example until bungie puts a system in place to punish quitters.
-
Punishing people who see the broken concept and act accordingly? But wait a few weeks and the servers are all yours! But with 5% of the original customers you will not have that comfort for long. :D

Edited by Draconus2006: 10/9/2014 7:27:45 PMI am not going to have an even more miserable time in crucible to prove some arbitrary imaginary moral point. I wont be the first one to leave, but I certainly wont stay after its clear people are clearing out and the party is over.

Edited by Odezur: 10/9/2014 7:38:16 PMIt's not an imaginary moral point. I refuse to let such selfish pathetic attitude perpetuate itself in any aspect of my life. Especially in the competitive aspect of video games, a hobby I take serious pride in. Sure I get angry when people leave but I switch my thinking to that of learning how to get better: The attitude that you're going to quit because you won't get any loot out of it is just gross period. You know that anger you feel when the first person quits? That should tell you that you think what they did is wrong. And now you're saying you just do the same thing. That's just a gross mentality when it comes to competition. Not to mention that I've had several games where I've had people leave only to have new players come in and we turn it around and win. But the guys like you who "leave if everyone else is going to" are screwing over the true competitors like myself and others who refuse to leave. It's sad that Bungie is going to have to implement rules to punish quitters like you in order to try and maintain a spirit of competition in Destiny

Go to the heroic trenches of 1914 and show us the real spirit! It's where you belong. lol

Edited by Draconus2006: 10/9/2014 7:39:54 PMI have complained about unfair team size since the start of crucible. I sincerely hope they have temp bans for habitual quitters who continue to quit. This is a game, and when the makers clearly allow for players to leave matches at will, what am I hurting? Like I said - I dont like it - but i prefer to quit rather than get more frustrated by the actions of others. Is that so sickening? Other team would likely cheer if the whole side left - insta win for loot and rep. What skill is there to show, when you are gunned down in a second by 3 auto rifles? or dead on sight to super after super? You are confusing me with the cause of the problem. I am simply a secondary symptom that resulted from the primary symptom - people that would of stayed through losses if only their team hadn't bailed on them.
-
I feel your pain dude. The Iron Banner has turned into a glorified Quitfest.
-
Edited by Odezur: 10/9/2014 6:33:14 PMUgh it's brutal man. Unless I go in with my clan mates is just frustrating to no end watching all these random pussies quit out. Wheres everyone's balls? Is everyone such a selfish loot-whore that they'll abandon team mates to get screwed? What's even worse are the people who complain about others leaving games and say "well I just leave if one or two of my team mates leave cause there is no point anymore". YOU ARENT ALLOWED TO COMPLAIN ABOUT PEOPLE LEAVING IF YOURE PART OF THE DAMN PROBLEM Man up pussies.

Im not sure if its a loot problem. You literally get nothing for participating in a loss even. Its like if you where working for a large corp and you are literally busting your balls for years for a job you want only to get shafted by a new hire that you had to train, you would quit your job as well OR talk your manager down. Dont get me wrong, I play IB. I am pretty good, but I have noticed that its not what its advertised as. A level 22 was able to kill me. How? I fire first, 100% uptime on hits. But he comes out on top with my high armor rating and exotic weapon. Now before you say "You just have no skill brah", Im level 27...the games code would have said "You win against that guy by a large margin" but it said "haha, your playing a regular crucible style where your 'advantage' doesnt matter." See? I would love to quit based on those stats alone, that im not playing in something thats advertised as "You will win, because you are the better person". But I dont quit because of what you said above about being able to "turn it around" which never happens hardly lol. Check this out. http://youtu.be/IgCJjNjZl28

they need to match fire teams with other fire teams. that is step 1.

Absolutely Bro, the quitting taints the competitive spirit that the Iron Banner is supposed to be promoting.
