Completing the nightfall solo is an accomplishment.
It's also a damning reminder that you need some gaming friends...
This week's Nightfall was refreshingly easy, which was good for me - someone who generally struggles on them.
We hammered it out twice over 2 characters in about an hour, and got some great loot for it.
I don't think there's anything wrong with using these little tricks and tips to beat the damn thing - Destiny is ultimately a game about optimizing what time you have in-game, the most efficiently.
So if there is a quick and efficient way to work through a portion of the game that makes sense, why not use it over doing it normally which could potentially take up almost double the amount of time?

Completing the nightfall solo, especially this week, isn't that hard, considering enemies do less damage and have less HP. If you know what you're doing, you should have no issues clearing the nightfall each week. Where it gets harder is when you do the nightfall with friends, where the enemies get tougher, deal more damage and become overall more aggressive.

I agree I think bungie want us to think on our feet and exploit what we find. just like in real life you don't go "ooo look if I stand there I can push him off the cliff, but that isn't fair so I will stand here in plain sight!"

Yep! Tuesdays are my favorites days of the week in my gaming life now - I love popping into these forums / youtube, and seeing how people have come up with creative ways to tackle the weekly / daily missions in interesting ways.
